This is why we need to keep pushing for justice. Don’t stop. Seven fucking years old. And all the charges were dropped? Are you kidding me? I watched the grandmother in that courthouse and it was heartbreaking, yet weekly didn’t shed a single tear.

When Aiyana’s grandmother cried “you know I didn’t touch you” you could see the guilt in his eyes, you could see that HE KNEW she was right. And the court knew. But he gets NO CONSEQUENCE, just like thousands of thousands of other cops: all because they are white police officers, and she was an innocent black child. It would have tarnished the force’s mistaken reputation of being ” saviours”, people who ”cant do bad because look at my shiny badge.”

Fucking despicable.
