A TADC Appreciation Post
Desperately needed to make a TADC appreciation post so here it is (Long ahh post, oops)
I watched the pilot when it was popular and thought the show was bizarrely unique and didn't think much of it. When the rest of the episodes came out, I didn't really bother to watch them but TADC kept popping up on my feed so I decided to finally sit down and watch from episode 2 to episode 7 (which was the current recent episode at the time) and I got into it. Well, more like the same way people regularly get into things. I watched some videos, theories, just the usual.
But what actually got me hooked was when episode 8 came out. Oh my god, you would not believe the HYPERFIXATION I HAD (and still do) That episode was what solidified Caine as my number 1 favorite character for me. I started looking at fanart, fansongs, fanfics, anything. I started drawing, doing song covers, dubs, LITERALLY ANYTHING I COULD. I latch onto any media I love, but even I'm surprised at how much TADC roped me in.
Hell, even after watching the finale in cinemas, I am STILL wrapped in the TADC craze like a madman. (Trying to cope lol) My biggest regret was not getting into TADC while it was airing the earlier episodes sooner. But oh my god was this journey an absolute SHOW!
It sucks when the bad side of a community overshadows all the fun, whimsical, and talented, side. But I wanna focus on the positives. The animatics, songs, comics, art, dubs, animations, AUs, cosplays, theories, everything the community created for this silly show, I loved every single one.
I'll still be in this community, consuming the media and making my own even after the finale releases. This isnt goodbye, it'll never be. And I don't want the finale to be the ending for the fandom (Well, maybe its best if the bad side leaves lol)
