regarding the domes. i want people to remember something leading into them: though jinki, kibum, minho and taemin have made a decision (a difficult one) that they feel to be the right one it doesnβt mean that itβll be easy for them nor does it mean that all are going to feel or react the same way to the process leading up to it. theyβre all different people who cope in different ways. even if theyβre doing them for themselves, for jonghyun, for jonghyunβs family, for shawols, it wonβt be easy. it is going to be an emotionally grueling process that begins with difficult changes that have to be made to make the concerts work and ends with having to face thousands of heartbroken shawols four times over (in under two weeks time). this also all needs to be figured out in under five weeks time. (ex: them having to figure out a way to make the entire concert work without jonghyunβs physical or vocal presence while also trying to keep his memory intact.) theyβre likely all terrified and stressed out and i think, as fans, we donβt just need to support them but we need to remember that theyβre all human beings and they shouldnβt be expected to be βstrongβ. theyβre going to have a lot of eyes on them during these concerts, including the eyes of the media and always judgmental netizens, and the last thing that theyβll need is anyone critiquing them for acting a particular way, breaking down or not beingΒ βprofessionalβ enough at certain points. if itβs been this difficult for us thatβs not even a β¦ fraction of how difficult itβs been for them, and how difficult it will continue to be. so, on top of hoping that the concerts go as smoothly as possible (given the obvious), we should also hope that theyβre taking care of their mental health and that there are people looking out for them, and making sure that theyβre aware that itβs okay to cry or live up to the stands that are normally expected of idols (or the standards that have been developed for them as a group through their career). (they have each other, of course, but having others is important as well.)
