Out of a whirlwind

Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared, and a light flooded the building.

He tapped Peter on the side and awakened him, saying,

“Get up quickly!”

And the chains fell away from his wrists. 

 Next, the angel said to him,

“Fasten your belt and put on your sandals.”

After he did so, the angel instructed him,

“Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.”

Acts 12: 7-8

The older one said to the younger one,

“Our father is getting old and there is no one in this territory to marry us as happens all over the earth.  

Come, we will give wine to our father and then lie with him; thus we will provide descendants for our father.”

There was also present a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher.

She was very advanced in years, having lived with her husband for seven years after their marriage, and then as a widow to the age of eighty-four.

She never left the temple but worshiped with fasting and prayer night and day.

 At that moment, she came forward and began to praise God, while she spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the deliverance of Jerusalem.
