I had to look this up and what I found as to why they do this is:
As fish control pests and weeds, fewer chemicals (such as pesticides and herbicides) are used, reducing the release of these agricultural chemicals into the environment. Paddies with fish have been measured to require 24% less fertilizer input and 68% less pesticide usage than rice grown alone. In addition, farmers often choose not to use pesticides, to avoid harming the fish.
In turn, biodiversity is increased. For example, the addition of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) to a rice monoculture increased the number of energy transfer pathways by 78.69%, while the energy transfer efficiency increased by 67.86%.
In addition, rice-fish systems can reduce methane emissions compared to rice monoculture. Rice paddyfields are agriculture's main contributors to greenhouse gases, which contribute to climate change, mainly because when flooded, as they often are on a regular cycle, they support methanogenic bacteria; overall, paddyfields contribute around 10% of the global greenhouse effect. Rice-fish systems may be able to contribute to global-scale reduction of methane emissions.

I have a few friends from Taiwan who don't speak much English either and sometimes struggle to articulate what they are wanting to say or mean, so this is a common thing for many who don't have some form of English as their first language.
This is why many Jews and Israeli's don't trust a lot of NGO's and "humanitarian organizations" they don't seem to consider us human.
Just look at the history of the Red Cross during WW2. Look at the poster that was shameless handed out at the NGO World Conference Against Racism in 2001. Look at the blatant double-standard against Israel by the UN. And let's not get into how UNRWA, a organization of the UN, is actively funding and committing terrorism.
(Any country and organization that funds UNRWA is essentially funding the Islamic Terrorist Regime and further inflaming the conflict in the ME. -> call your representatives to stop funding them, at least until there is a thorough clean-up.)
So if your source for something is Amnesty International or UN or any other NGO that reluctant condemned the murder of Israeli civilians (if at all), then you might want to find another source for your "unbiased" and "humanitarian" claims.
Sometimes, it's not what is being said that's important, it's what isn't being said. And the silent deceleration is "We care more about the lives of those that advocate and commit the torture, kidnapping, and murder of Jews; then Jews."
If you think antisemitism died in WW2 (which is STILL in living memory!) then you either ignorant, don't care, or actively malicious.
I will never forget how a woman in a "pro-palestine" rally responded to this question: "Did you know it was the largest massacre of Jews since the holocaust?"
"The largest massacre?" she said, concerned.
The interviewer: "Of Jews, yes."
"Oh," and she relaxed and visibly lost interest.
Like finding out that the victims were Jewish released her from the stressful "burden" of holding compassion for victims of a massacre.
You either care about human rights, about safety, life and liberty for all - or you don't. If you don't have those morals, don't pretend that you do. If you don't care, then don't be a useful idiot. Just because you don't care does not mean that your performative position doesn't lead to real world consequences.
(The main thing googled the day after Brexit was declared was "What is Brexit?" Instead of understanding what they advocated for, they just voted, as if the whole point of a democracy isn't that the public have a say in their own governance. If you don't do research and or don't know your own beliefs, then you are being a useful idiot to whoever has "better" propaganda.)
If you can't answer, "what are my foundational values?" then you have no place throwing weight in any conflict with violent repercussions.
So according to what I’ve been able to find, Daqqa wasn’t convicted of the murder himself, but of leading the group that abducted, tortured, and murdered this Israeli soldier, Taman. Apparently this conviction was obtained at a lower standard of proof than Israeli criminal court under older, military rules…which depending on your perspective is either chilling or rather ordinary (whether or not you agree with it) for a nation that is at war.
All of that is, for the purposes of considering Amnesty International, neither here nor there. If Daqqa is guilty, then I can’t say I regard his death as any sort of injustice. If you torture and murder a nation’s soldiers, even IF your cause was just, it’s hardly shocking if they do violence to you in turn, such as imprisonment. If he was innocent, then it’s awful he died in prison-I can’t find reporting that gives me insight into the evidence against him.
But what’s telling about Amnesty International is that their press releases discuss none of this. Daqqa was ‘Palestinian writer’. If you go by just their remarks, Israel imprisoned him as a writer. Which is…well. ‘Misleading’ is charitable. That’s AI for you: dishonest at best. Taken in context with lots of other stuff, it’s considerably worse.
Even if he was guilty he still had inviolable human rights-the fact that he's definitely burning in Hell if he was actually guilty plays no part in that. But you can tell quite easily that that's not the angle Amnesty International is going for, given how they spent that entire paragraph lamenting what they were portraying as unjust imprisonment without ever mentioning what he'd been imprisoned for.
>So according to what I’ve been able to find, Daqqa wasn’t convicted of the murder himself, but of leading the group that abducted, tortured, and murdered this Israeli soldier, Taman.
It's one thing to do it yourself. It's actually worse if you lead a bunch of people to do it.
Also, the first half of the article (archive) goes on and on about how Israel allegedly tortured this guy, but doesn't mention how the group allegedly tortured a soldier, just "abducted and killed" him.
And they put that part in the second half, after they've primed the reader to think of this murderer as a victim.
Followed by fluff about his ties to the Palestinian community, how he acted as a mentor to children.
Call me crazy, but I wouldn't want a torturer and murderer to be a mentor to my kids.
Apparently, this isn't even the first time Amnesty defended anti-Israeli Jewish terrorists.
AA is pretty bad about that, one of their articles about this demons death they talk about him needing a 'compassionate release' so he could go get treatment for the cancer that ultimately killed him.
Israel has some of the best cancer specialists in the world, and they obviously are not opposed to having them treat terrorists being held on a life sentence.
The world needs to go back to using the death penalty as someone like THIS doesn't deserve to live and those in whatever nation someone is serving life in prison for is paying to take care of these people. Part of the reason taxes are so high and why the hell should we have to take care of them, if it was going to help pay to help those with addiction issues who are trying to get clear or to help those with mental health issues or to help the homeless get on their feet or to help veterans or something that is a worthy cause than I'd be down for that.

He clearly has dementia as my nana and papa (maternal grandparents) both have it, this is beyond scary we have someone who is unfit in every way possible "running" our country
How many times must Hamas be proven (or admit to be in this case) to be lying for pro-palestine idiots to understand you can't trust terrorists and they've been spoonfed a false version of these events by the media in Gaza since the start?
Bold of you to assume they won't just call it a Zionist trick of some sort.
Never underestimate the difficulty involved in removing someone's head from their own ass after they've evolved the ability to breathe their own farts.
Never trust ANYTHING extremists say or claim, they can't be trusted it is that simple. After everything that has happened when it comes to religion biased bullshit that has led to bloodshed, I can't understand how everyone doesn't already know the drill and want to bring people like this down so we can all finally have peace and religious extremism can finally end. As too many people worldwide have been enslaved, tortured, killed and had their traditional cultures either almost completely destroyed or it was destroyed. I have Native American on my mom's side so I have a huge ancestorial grudge with people like this.
I actually do fish on rare occasions and understand when the water level if low, you will have a lot more problems as you will snag weeds and other things instead of fish. Shallow water isn't the best area to ever fish, good place to look for things like frogs though.

This is healthy snacking to me to be honest as I have a chronic medical condition that makes it hard for me to gain weight and to keep weight on me, so I'm extremely over weight as I eat far too little than I should be. Lots of factors go into how much one should be eating, metabolism and a medical condition like ulcerative colitis (the medical condition I have) play key roles into to among other things. So something like this could be seen as unhealthy for some, so if you are worried about the amount of food you need to eat talk to your doctor along with a nutritionist if necessary. As you should never just think a certain type of diet or eating lifestyle would work for you and be safe, as it will most likely do more harm than good.
I want to believe this, but unfortunately I don't. Not the bit about Hamas stealing aid and selling it. Hamas is evil and evil people do evil things on the daily. But I don't believe that most, or even many, Gazans want peace with Israel. They may hate Hamas because Hamas is actively oppressing them right now, but they hate Israel just as much, if not more. The actions of the "palestinian" people, over the last 80 years but especially since 10/7/23, have shown the exact opposite of a widespread desire for peaceful coexistence with their Jewish neighbors.
As long as all the nations where Islam is the primary religion continue to side with and allow extremists like Hamas, ISIS, the Iranian government, etc. to continue to do what has been going on for over 2,000 years, refuse to denounce them and refuse to work together along side Israel who keeps dealing with these extremist bastards time and again on getting rid of them. Nothing will change and everyone who is siding with Palestine, who is blaming Israel for all of this and wants Israel destroy can shut the fuck up. The Jewish people have been dealing with this sort of bullshit for far to long and it is one of the oldest religions that still exists from ancient times and it was the Christians and Muslims who are the colonists and are the ones who have done horrific things, not the Jews who have been in the middle-east (with the exclusion of Egypt) from the biggening and who try to live as peacefully as possible and only fight back against those who attack them such as Palestine and Iran.
