She was very reserved in rehearsal [during production]. It was very much a mystery to me what she was capable of. As a first time filmmaker you're kind of nervous about that. You're like, oh my gosh, I hope everything works out. But I remember, I think this was the first day of shooting, and it was the scene where she was kissing Bear on the bed and she flies back. I was, like; "Here we go, okay, action!" And she did it. I looked at my producer [Haley Nicole Johnson], and said; "Okay. We've got a movie." And that's the take [that's in the movie]. You'd either find an actress was really good at [acting out natural scenes] and just talking and all that but they couldn't get the really eerie, weird, scary stuff right.
