I tried drawing an older Pietro and Wanda for the heck of it, thinking if maybe he took on a bit more of her goth vibe for kicks (tho I don't think he'd dress that way as often), and also if they got matching tattoos. I'd like to think they eventually get closer again when they get older. I mostly wanted to try Pietro bc I was never a fan of his older future design in the show ffff

Back when times were a bit nicer before it all went to shit and Wanda was sent away. :')

(it’s more like homecoming bc they are not in their last year but still)

okay so after longer time I have so much headcanons to share with you so bare with me this will be longer post

okay so Coulson gives them 3 rules for that night - 1. no hero suits 2. no powers and 3. have fun… he wants them to feel like normal teenagers at least for that one night (how sweet of him right)

most of the team doesn’t wanna go but also doesn’t want to be the only one not going

here is how the night goes for each one of them

Peter is mess, he shows up in thrifted suit and his everyday sneakers, but still manages to look great,… he decides to go there with MJ as “friends” they seems very close tho, Peter spends like first 5 minutes with team and then rest of the night he enjoy with MJ, they dance (Peter is very bad dancer lol), they talk, they have great time, later when Harry shows up he goes to him, talk and they FINALLY sort their stuff (their no talking stage ends here)… for moment Peter feels like nothing changed, like life is normal as it used to be…

Sam is hype boy with zero emotional regulation, he goes there without date, just to have fun and hang out with rest of the ultimates (he is with them for first 40 minutes), he pretends that he doesn’t care about looks but definitely flexes his outfit too hard… he dances like no one is watching and crowd loves it, he even starts dance circle, rest of the team smiles while watching him at first bc they finally get to see this more wholesome part of Sam,… he gets into dumb argument with peter due to jealousy and ego for moment but Peter says “fuck it, I m sorry I don’t want to argue tonight, let’s just enjoy it” and for first time Sam agrees… also I think this is what makes them closer friends, he also spends some time with Peter, MJ and Harry but then decides to give them some space… at the end of the night he sits down, really tired from all dancing and as he is catching breath he realizes that his jacket is missing and gone forever 😢 also after prom he is like school celebrity bc everyone will remember his dance moves

Ava is one who wouldn’t want to go but goes anyway bc she doesn’t want to be alone… tbh she would not be completely over Peter at that point so she is mentally not at very good place… but she looks gorgeous, she is like most beautiful person at prom… she decides to ask Danny to go there with her, bc she doesn’t wanna be there without partner… they go there as friends too ofc… she spends lot of her night with Danny, Luke and Sam and at first they talk and have amazing time together, but then Ava notices Peter and MJ and it makes her bit sad but also someone makes thoughtless comment about her that that hits too close and this two things basically ruins her night, for rest of the night she just sits at the table and dissociates… also I forgot to mention that Harry is in his troublemaker era so he would secretly spike up drinks, and since Ava would just sit and drink half of the night she would end up bit too drunk at the end of the night without even realizing… at the end of the night she gets into some stupid argument with person who made that mean comment about her earlier and then she storms outside

Danny would be so lost lol, he also doesn’t wanted to go but he was too scared to tell Ava no when she asked (or more like ordered) him to go with her, he doesn’t understand prom culture, he genuinely asks what’s “normal” when Ava tells him just wear something normal… same as Ava at first it’s more fun for him, then when Ava basically shuts down it becomes so uncomfortable for him, at first when she sees Peter and MJ dancing she asks if Danny wants to dance too to which he answers “I don’t know how to” so like then they sit half hour in silence just watching rest of the people having fun, after observing for long enough he asks Ava if she still wants to dance… she is already very upset so hits him with very mean “NO” and he immediately answers with “okay” and they continue to sit in silence… also when he tastes bit of the drinks he senses there is something off about it and he tries to tell Ava but she like doesn’t really care about it…Danny feels really out of place among “normal teens” and has brief identity crisis, this night is bit of a nightmare for him

Luke doesn’t wanna go at first but since everyone is going he joins them…. He warns rest of the team to be careful and not use powers, but is the one who ends up them on accident (he breaks the table lol), but no one suspects him… at first he spends time with Ava and Danny, then he feels the tension so is like hell nah, I’m not gonna just sit there in silence and decides to go and grab some food, in middle of way Sam spots him and tells him to chill out and have some fun, and hype him up to dance, they get both carried away ofc and this is the moment when Luke ends up breaking that table… Luke holds it so it won’t fall and Sam runs to find something to support it so it won’t fall (he ofc forgets to come back),… after while Luke is pissed and starts swearing a bit, when suddenly some girl lifts the table with her one hand and puts chair under it with other so the table won’t fall… later he talks to that girl (she goes to different high school but she was invited to this prom by her friends), they get to know each other, bond over their common powers, spend the rest of the night together, in the end she suddenly leaves without saying goodbye and Luke is bit sad bc he doesn’t even asked her what her name is… that girl is ofc Jessica Jones

They are all teenagers after all and I wanted to show you at least little bit of everyone’s pov, to make you understand what and why everything went down that way… I think high school can be very messy and even tho you might be hero, your prom could become your worst nightmare or one of core memories

also I have much more about this which I didn’t write there, like Harry’s and MJ’s pov, oc stuff ofc bc I love her sm so I know exactly how would her night go down, I have also like continuation of what would happened afterwards and so on, so on ,… but this post is so long so maybe I will just make 2nd part someday

I wanted to draw something quick for this.. a horrible homecoming for ultimate heroes, how tragic. I wanted to draw Peter admiring Ava, just for a split second

if I was rewriting usm I would make them probably canon at some point

I love them sm but I think it would take them ages to get together, if they even would get together, but THE CHEMISTRY is beyond this world🧪

so like Ava wants Peter first, even she doesn’t wanna accept it she falls for him hard… it’s not subtle, it’s obvious, how she looks at him, how her hand lingers on his wrist, how she looks at his mouth when he talks

they share one casual kiss after difficult mission, it would be right after Peter broke up with Felicia Hardy, so he is very emotional and vulnerable, for him it feels like little mistake, but Ava falls in love

Peter realizes it and backs away… he feels awkward and guilty,… he tells himself it’s because team dynamics, which is true but it’s also because Ava wants him in a way he doesn’t know how to handle

Ava hates that he won’t touch her like touches everyone else, just in casually, friendly, carelessly… with her it feels distant and careful… she takes all of this as rejection, she is angry… but they suffer both, it’s not easy for neither of them

after this Ava starts pushing his buttons on purpose, standing too close, training too rough… she wants reaction, any kind of reaction… Peter gets little bit uncomfortable, he dodges conversation and disappears mid moment…

they are both incredibly smart, so this all feels like game of chess, every of their moves is very calculated and thought through

since Peter avoids Ava, he kinda avoids rest of the team too, he spends more of his free time at home rather than at helicarrier and start spending more time with MJ and become more close with her and decides to go to homecoming with her (as friends but there is obvious chemistry between them)… Ava is crushed and seeing them dance together makes her realize that this is destroying her… after that she slowly start letting go

ofc Peter’s and MJ’s relationship doesn’t really go anywhere too at that point bc like yeah they like each other but Peter’s fear and overthinking is again in the way,… he fears that dating her puts MJ in danger so like he again avoids the relationship… idk if he has avoidant attachment or it’s some kind of fear that he carries with him since his first relationship…

after while things go back to normal with Ava, kinda like they used to be before, Ava is mostly over him and he is okay with that

things are okay for a while until Ava starts dating someone (idk who yet 😭), Peter hates it and gets jelaous in worst way possible, he is quiet, whitdrawn and his martyr complex activstes,… Ava notices that he is acting up and she is pissed bc he is clearly bothered by something but won’t talk about it

eventually, it explodes during one mission, and it is too honest, they yell at each other: “you dont get to act like you dont care” “you dont get to decide what I can handle” “stop looking at me like that if you are not going to do anything about it!” they cross the line and it’s messy and emotional… also bit awkward bc rest of the team is there too and Sam has to yell at them to focus on mission (u know you fucked up when Sam is the one being responsible for once)

afterwards it’s bit awkward again, Ava is confused, she has boyfriends but she still really likes Peter… Peter is ashamed that he snapped on her… but they still care and no matter how many times they try to walk away, they keep coming back… neither of them wants something easy, they want something real even if it hurts

yes I’ve been thinking about this for very long time, I love them

also I’m gonna start using “#usm rewrite” for everything that that would be canon if I wrote usm lol,… so from now on if you are interested you’ll be able to find it under that hashtag on my blog

i get what you mean! i do find monet and pietro a good pairing and i love them, they work really well together and their dynamic is interesting since they are so similar, but yeah, emily and pietro were something else.
