Things I refuse to let go about Bridgerton:

In the books, Edmund was with Eloise when he died. They were out in the garden together when he got stung by the bee and died. She was seven and obviously didn’t understand what happened and had nightmares about it for years. For the show, they gave it to Anthony, had him be the one who discovered their father.

I can see different reasons why they might do this, but I will always accept the alternative from the books. This isn’t me being an Anthony hater either, I think his parentified teen story would have hit well had they not included him being the one to find Edmund in the garden.

I just think it would have been interesting to explore how that impacted Eloise.
