so, yesterday i finished reading the fic called Software Update (title is a link) mentioned somewhere in the comments to one of the parts of IF... well.
What can i say. Some parts of it were just as if i wrote them LOL. Like Vox being like "ur so beautiful" while doing some horrible fucked up shit to Alastor. su!Vox 🤝 if!Vox

And then i was like, wait in darker version of IF vox does fucking both of these things (deal and hypnosis) and threw him into the mix. And while having all the assholes gathered in one place...

Incompatible Frequencies AU Masterpost
bonus, i somehow missed all the warnings that it's going to be about sex. so this is literally me while reading this fic
This AU contains exploration and depiction of dark and heavy themes, like sexual assault and abuse. If you are sensetive to this kind of stuff, I do not recommend reading. Proceed with caution.
Alastor and Vox make a deal, but later Alastor realises that he overestimated himself and can't pay the price. It doesn't bother Vox in the slightest though, he wants what was promised to him and will not budge.
Timeline and changes: after that scene in the bar Vox sucked it up and kept hanging out with Alastor. Hypnosis and Forced Broadcast events never happened. Alastor now knows about Vox's feelings and sees it as something to laugh at, and maybe use.
Now, let me yap a little bit here. Bare with me, it's somewhat important.
Usually i don't post masterpost before the comic itself, but, as you may guess, this comic is a... special case. The cover sums up the AU pretty much, and this isn't type of thing that i usually do. Usually i try to avoid sexual topics at all, because it makes me uncomfortable, but i guess the fact that Hazbin is an adult show and doesn't shy away from sexual topics, it kinda also makes me think about it too? And lately i felt like all the ways i torture Alastor in my works just isn't enough.
At first i didn't even want to draw this idea. But when i told it in my discord, several people got really excited about it, and wanted to see it, so, i decided to make this comic. But i thought, i'd just leave it discord exlusive, because it felt too dark and too out of character for me to make something like this on public.
And then i learned that apparently April is Sexual Assauls awarnes and prevention month and this comic fit right in the topic. And here's the thing, usually i rarely make occasion/event themed stuff in time (the pride series was an exception), so, the fact that i got this idea right before the month made me think that it wasn't a coincidence. Maybe someone out there needs to see this.
And trust, if not me, than my discord folks, that i didn't sexualize of romanticize any of this stuff and bad things are portrayed as bad, and not downplayed.
This comic is rather short, compared to my other long running comics (only 65 pages) (trust me, it's a small comic, considering that Forced broadcast may have over 200 sketched by the time of writing this post), and Alastor WILL get out of this situation, i know for some people that can be deciding factor on whether or not read the story. And no, this isn't smut. This gets as graphic as episode 4 of season 1, but nothing more. This comic may later get additional content, dedicated to Alastor dealing with trauma and his healing process.
I'm not putting tw tags on this post, but I will be tagging parts of the comic with TW tags for SA, especially those with most graphic scenes, and i will try to hide graphic pages under cut.
And once again, if you don't feel comfortable, you aren't obligated to read this comic, no matter how much of a dedicated fan of my works you are. Just in case. Your own mental health should be more valuable than anything else.

Oof. I was wondering why it took me so long to finish this one, and then i realised that it's honking EIGHT PAGES!!! SINCE WHEN?!! IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE JUST 5
Um, anyway, this part is a casual reminder why Vox deserved everything that is coming for him.
Vox doesn't know he's causing literal war sex flashbacks with his wires, and finds it adorable and cute how Alastor freezes whenever the wire touches him. Alastor hates it but won't tell Vox how much it actually hurts him, not wanting to look weaker than he already is.
Alastor is gripping into his newfound hope as hard as he can, or he'll just break and give up at all.
Alright, i promise, this was the last part of Alastor suffering horrendously and helplessly (in the comic, bonus parts however? oh boy). From here we are moving to the ending. Buckle up.
Okay, some of you being like "oh no im late" guys, bros, lads, dudes, we ain't at school, there is no such thing as "late"!! Especially in the first 24 hours LOL. I always see and read every comment, even if the part was a month old. Even like someone comments on 2 year old post, i still see it and im glad!!

A little bit about relationships between Alastor and Carmilla. First of, I think Carmilla does care about any overlord and considers them... well, not friends, but people that are worth to be worried about. After her family, of course.
And she does care about Alastor too, and she would even have a soft spot for him... if he wasn't acting like a feral brat first few years, being especially mad that Hell has some formalities and he was tricked into accepting them. That behavior killed that soft spot before it could grow.
Though, by now she's learning to handle Alastor and their "love language" is trolling each other, and Carmilla starts liking it, especially when she manages to get on Alastor's nerves with something that isn't paperwork.
So, she thought that Alastor would be insufferable about his new "partner" and decided to poke at it first, considering that she had to bring that up anyway. But Alastor's reaction wasnt' what she expected, at all. It set her off and she started looking closely at him...
Alastor didn't know Vox applied for being an overlord. If he knew, he probably said something different and Vox would've gotten a protege status. But Vox decided that he doesn't need to tell Alastor about it and that Alastor would tell how "good" he is, and they don't need to discuss it. When Carmilla crumpled that paper, Alastor understood what had happened. And like, There aren't many overlords at this point, it's been like 30 years since Alastor wiped out old folks, so they need more new overlords. And Carmilla didn't have any real reason to deny Vox's application. But she did anyway, because Alastor didn't want him here, and that fact kinda gave Alastor feeling that he has an ally. Like, Rosie is good and all, but she owns his soul and also fucked up the last time they've seen each other.
Not like Alastor is gonna tell anything to Carmilla, but the fact that him not wanting to see Vox is enough to deny a potential new owerlord is... comforting.
And Carmilla can see and understand much more than Alastor realises.
