I saw the character and loved her design; she is super cute. I based the face and pose on statues, trying to give it a mystical or at least aesthetic feel.
While looking for references to draw the face, I found the statue with the blanket?, and I liked so I decided to do another version since I think it looks more interesting.

I really like black lion OCs, I like how this drawing turned out, I feel like it looks like a cover.
Fisrt attack of the art fight this year.
I'm going to try to tackle the whole art fight with this style, since I want to be able to draw realistic portraits faster, and I think this is great practice.
This is a city from a D&D table, which actually takes place in the same realm where we've already played through like three different tables.
This is a relatively poor and forgotten city that survives partly on mining and the little trade that reaches the area.
Almost reaching the city, due to some silly mistake on the table (specifically my own fault), we lost our tumbril and nearly froze to death. Luckily, we managed to get sweaters in time because every step we had to make a constitution saving throw or get exhausted.

Everyday I get on my phone and have to witness as out government continues to allow the death and destruction of our beautiful wildlife in an attempt to hold full power and run this awful country to the ground. Killing endangered whales and polar bears for easier access to oil cause we fucked up our easy access to it; lifting the ban on cyanide bombs which will kill wild animals but pets that are lured to the scent too; killing predators because “the deer population is decreasing” due to habitat loss & disease NOT because of the food chain. This is not anti-human, this is anti-I’m superior to nature dickheads
Please educate yourself and others about the harms that are happening to our beautiful planet and how nature self-regulates without most help from humans. To the conservationists, thank you for your hard work every day 💚

This thing took 4 days of work and a lot of polygons; I'm glad my pc could handle rendering all of this.
I also want to start adding characters to the composition so it doesn't feel so empty, I found a free model of the hunter in Sketchfab to use as a test. I feel the biggest problem is giving it an expressive pose. I really wanted to finish this project, so I left the hunter in the model's base pose.
Since I felt the composition was a bit boring, I added hands using photo manipulation to make it look like the monsters are emerging from the darkness. I think just the hunter standing there is a bit dull.
For a DTIYS post on Instagram, I feel like the helmet is a bit over the top. I would have preferred a simpler, more coherent design, but I had already made too much progress on the drawing to change it.
More 3D modeling and paintover practice. I don't know how I ended up with so many vertices this time; I don't know how my computer handled rendering all that. I think I subdivided my arcs and windows too much.
This painting turned out even darker than I expected. I wanted to experiment with a more dark fantasy style, so I tried different color and light filters until I got this strange result, but I liked it
