i’ve said it before but i wish vaginas didn’t cost money
you literally can not have a vagina without paying for it. vaginoplasty for some, period products for others, if you want to stop buying period products that’s gonna be expensive medicine or an expensive procedure, recovery from surgery requires time off work and vaginoplasty specifically requires money spent on dilators. our bodies shouldnt cost us this much on baseline. having a vagina shouldnt have such a hefty tax on it. it makes me feel like i’m in a fictional dystopia written for middle school classrooms when i think about it.

the more i see it the more the narrative about like "transphobia ruins your life and makes you unlikeable and unhappy" feels like a massive cope. a lot of very polite and nice and well adjusted and otherwise kind people will suddenly do a massive heelturn to hurt a trans person and it'll be no cost to them whatsoever. JK rowling isn't coping and seething about trans women every day, she's not delusional from mold, i think it's actually worse that she's doing very well for herself.
i've heard one too many stories of trans women being betrayed by their friends. you don't need to be a perpetually seething bigot to be a bigot, i think this narrative can potentially make bigotry harder to spot.
the people that have the most ability to hurt you will do it with a word in private. they won't give you any kind of warning because they will never think of what they're feeling as hatred or disgust and they won't want to hurt your feelings where they can see. they will just have Concerns that they will Voice when you are Not Around.

If i were to pivot rico into being a character in tomb raider instead of uncharted. Nothing would have to change abt his background but i think within the narrative he would do GREAT as a secondary antagonist that switches sides and aids lara somewhere in the later half of the game

rico and relationships/flirting
first and foremost rico is a WHORE
i think before everything with healey, he had some casual and long term relationships but now as a host of the guardian spirit, he is exceptionally noncommittal
hes definitely a lover in every port kind of a person, tho hes not dishonest about it. hes not inclined to tricking people into bedding with him with false promises of a substantial relationship. dont get it twisted tho. he'll flirt with someone whos married or otherwise in a relationship, or be the little devil in ur ear urging u to be impulsive for a night, but hes not gonna pretend like hes someone hes not: someone looking for a serious relationship
tho to be clear, he is a home-wrecker not a creep. if hes flirtin with someone and he hits a wall, he lets the rejection roll off his back and moves on to someone else
being that hes rich but doesnt give a single fuck about money, he is also perfectly willing to be a sugar daddy and probably already is to multiple people
and while rico is meant to be shipped with sam in the story (sam is also a noncommittal flirtatious motherfucker TO ME) i dont think their engaging in some kind of relationship is gonna somehow turn either of them into people looking to settle down at all/right away. If they ever get serious - tho that wouldnt occur in the first story - theyd probably be in an open relationship
i think what i need is for Aster - the main villain - to be a little rich bitch whos in way over his head and hes gotta have a moment akin to yzma getting her fuckin heels stuck in the mud in emperors new groove
