dean and cas fighting with each others weapons of choice so easily because they’re so in sync. they’re in the middle of a battle, back to back, and dean passes his gun from his right hand to cas’ left hand while cas slips the angel blade from his right hand into dean’s left. and they move so fluidly, dean slashing a vampire in the neck with the blade while cas shoots at some vamps up on the hill a short distance away because he can see further in the dark than dean can. and then they’ll flip weapons again, the transition flawless as they back and forth the gun and the blade until all the vamps are dead. dean turns, grinning at cas as he bumps their shoulders together and says, “always knew you were a good shot”
