But it got me wondering. Is there a term for "combining 2 or more #canon sources" that seems like a different kind of #fanon
Adaptations and reboots have been around for centuries. Example, book to play.
I think when combining 2 or more canon sources, especially if it "fills in lore" or doesn't make a plot hole or rewrites another canon, it should be it's on fanon/canon
For #phm the book canon elements can be included into the movie's canon.

Im still reading the book, but I think I'll make a fun/casual Book vs Movie Rocky chart.
Fun fact, Book Rocky could do a proper thumbs up. The reason why the movie version does thumbs down, was the limitations of the Puppet.
Yes Rocky is a puppet and not CGI
Yes the film did some digital editing to remove the puppeteers in certain shots. But the film makers did basically everything to keep CGI as minimum as possible.
When Rocky is in the "ball", the ball was a prop, manned by James Ortiz, the "voice"
They had a mini puppet for other shots
The film crew did everything to use life sized puppet, "ball" and mini puppet and used CGI for the least amount of shots.
It's why it feels so real. "Grace" was talking to "Rocky" in real time, and not a "tennis ball on a stick"

Nightmare is a mix of Eridian and a lichen covered tree stump. That is a false eye.

Kinda yes, we will judge you on "vegan food" for animals/pets that require meat for their health.
To give a better idea of "cashiers/warehouse" judgement, even the RELIGIOUS cashier/warehouse worker is more likely to be "I'm not paid to care" or "whatever" to Sex toys/adult purchases. The religious worker would still care more about the "poor animals, they need real food".
People care for pets
Cashiers and warehouse workers will judge more harshly about vegan pet food.
Buy all the adult products you want. Cashiers in general don't care. Warehouse workers really don't care at all.
We will judge against vegan pet food
Again, humans can be vegan and be perfectly ok. Humans guts/health can deal with it. Dogs and cats can not deal with a vegan diet.
I will judge you if you torcher a pet with a vegan diet if they need animal proteins.

I finally finished a request drawing from @mrblank-0 Grillby from Evocation!Tale. I loved the pose then I realized that you can't see the arms lol but I loved how the wings were shown off

Jax wasn't lovely. Jax was awful, cruel and pushed everyone away, and never took a single chance given.
He wasn't lovely.
But she could have been.
Oh Jax. If you just accepted yourself and the people around you sooner, she could've have been lovely. You would've been happier with yourself and the world around you. If you loved yourself for who you were, you probably would've hurt less people.
But you let her exist far too late. It took someone personally traveling through your torment to the point you couldn't hide anything anymore, to let her breathe.
The moment you admitted "I don't want to go" when the entire rest of the series you were begging to fade away, you admitted you wanted to keep living as her. That's why the song started at that moment. She was born far too late.
At least she lives somewhere, out there. Drinking at Riley's bar with some friends.

So to add on to the symbolism, the original song was celebrating the birth of a daughter. And I don't know if this was a coincidence or another layer of symbolism, but the fact that the Stevie Wonder collaborated with Burnetta "Bunny" Jones is pretty interesting.
Jax was finally out of their toxic household, yes Jax was trapped in the digital circus, but they were trapped with a human cast that cared. Jax had plenty of time and people that were so patient with them. There was was potential for Jax to be reborn into her true self.
The most patient human there is Kinger, and his love of butterflies. Kinger got his love of bugs from his wife. The reason I'm mentioning butterflies is because they are another symbol of change/rebirth/spiritually/death. Kinger was open to be a father figure to basically everyone. Kinger with his past of losing all of his friends and his wife, had an understanding of change. Kinger has shown to be a beacon of light to Raggatha when she dropped in.
Raggatha was open to be a big sister/friend. And the list can go on. Before the abstraction of Ribbit, Jax had the "easy mode" of personal growth. But Jax pushed Ribbit away, pushed kaufmo away. Bullied Gangle and antagonized Zooble.
When Jax was finally able to attempt to either rope in Pomi to his misery, he was tempted to befriend Pomi. He could have really worked on the harder road to self growth and REDEMPTION, but Jax gave up.
The tragedy of Jax was "he" could have embraced herself and be reborn into her true self.
This is all coming from a fan of the show, that has Jax at the bottom of the list of who I like as characters. Ghost Lady in the haunted house episode? Way above Jax.
I do understand why people love Jax, and I understand why so many people wanted to see her get redeemed. Or even have a "meaningful death" similar to Darth Vader.
I understand Jax was very likable before Ribbit abstracted, and I can easily imagine her to be likable if she embraced herself. I enjoyed watching the "entertaining unlikeable character" have a tragic ending.
Jax has a place in the show. A cautionary tale of not accepting help and accepting yourself.
She really could had been lovely, and that's the tragedy.

The 4th of July this year is on a SATURDAY!!! So that means it's right in the middle of the weekend!!! Some people will set fireworks on Friday, some on Saturday and some on Sunday!!!
Seriously, it's on Saturday!!! Get ready for your pets, and family that are sensitive to sounds and lights!!!
This is the first year without my cats. She was 16 this year. She hated fireworks. I was there for her before.
I miss both of them so much. But this is my first truly petless holidays. 15 and 16 years of to cats that kept each other strong and happy.
Seriously,.treat your pets and family right during fireworks holidays. They will need you.
