AH I love her! (Sorry, I need to be my music geek self for a minute) ALSO she’s conducting my all-time favorite piece I’ve ever performed. Danzón No 2 by Marquez is a PHENOMENAL piece and if you’re reading this you NEED to go listen to it right now! I’m going to have my orchestras play this someday and I can guarantee she is going to be me lol. (Also to those who complain that her ictus isn’t strong enough: it’s basically impossible to not be looking at your music while playing this piece, so those looking at the conductor are those waiting to be cued, and she does a great job of cuing.) Now back to your regularly scheduled programs....
