The Wayback Machine's last capture of the landing page is from May 2026.
The last update was apparently in April 2023, announcing that that "Passion and Perfection is now closed to new submissions."
The last two reblogs on @ralst's tumblr were from December 2023 and December 2022.
The is a fanlore page, but it is relatively short.
I an sad that this site is gone. I have a lot of fond memories and am very grateful that ralst maintained the site for so long. It was one of my main fic sources before AO3.
I hope ralst is OK.
If anyone has any information, please feel free to share in the comments, ask, etc.
Oh this is sad. Passion and Perfection and the Pink Rabbit consortium at altfic.com were my two favourite multifandom femslash sites, and looking at the latter that is also now gone, last snapshot in January, though I know I last visited it more recently than that.
These were what we had before AO3, and I'll be forever grateful for all the time and work put into creating and maintaining them.
Download the fic you love, folks, because even the Internet Archive may not be forever
Oh my. Sad indeed that that The Pink Rabbit Consortium (altfic.com) is also gone. The art and design was really amazing.
@pinkrabbitpro's tumblr was last active in January 2020. The is also a fanlore page.
That means that of the three multi fandom femslash sites that I used to use a lot before ff.net and AO3 only one remains active alive mid 2026:

As there is no year listed in the "new stories" page, I am not sure when this site was last updated, but I think it has been a while.
And sadly also a lot of the sites I mentioned in my Xena and Buffy femslash fic guides seem to be gone now. (I'll need to do some digging next week).

The issue with both these websites looks like renewal. Has anyone contacted @ralst directly through email? I know one year, I almost let my personal site registration lapse because of an expired credit card and fkn Google shunting the notification emails to promotions /spam. I was something like 11 hours away from expiration of the redemption period. And you could not believe the stress! For the few minutes until I could confirm domain renewal

Baby's first killdeer! Crissy Field Marsh, San Francisco, CA (2026), Which is fucked up because there are so many of them on Long Island, and they've definitely been spotted in the ball fields in Central Park. I love their little high-pitched calls, their fast, stilty, bobbing walk and striking throat and chest stripes.
