Well hello there:D

I really enjoy using this technique but on rare occasions since it uses up a lot of materials

Plus I need to leave the piece underneath a very heavy book for some period of time since I don't have a press haha

If you're interested these are the cut outs I carved out

On the left you have the main cut out and on the right the background. As you can tell I cut some corners when working on the background, you see nothing!

Removing colour from these takes some time but it's very relaxing haha

It's called the Linocut technique I believe

I will definitely post more of these. I just need to buy more linoleum haha

And linoprinting does come with it's fair share of trial and error haha

For example the paint being to thinly applied or the background somehow not turning out the way you wanted

Just as any creative piece, it's important to have fun with it!

If everything goes well I'll be ordering some linoleum add the end of the year so hopefully il be able to post some more linoprints:)
