It’s a bittersweet goodbye. The last day in the “old” Hollow Woods. I’m excited for what’s to come but sad to say goodbye to what’s felt like home for the last 8 years.

It has been years since I’ve posted anything SSO related. I thought I wasn’t going to post again, but with the departure of the original characters, I felt I had to. I was 16 in 2015, when I first entered the world of SSO and created Nova. I was going through some hard times, and SSO was my escape from it. I developed Nova as a bit of a mystic, who worked with the Druids and went off to explore Pandoria as much as she could. It’s been 8 years with her now. Saying goodbye is bitter sweet. On one hand, I am excited for sso’s next steps in development, and I do hope the new characters are good. But I am sad to say goodbye to the original. I’m unsure at this point whether I’ll remake the new character as Nova, or if I’ll create a new OC and leave her memory as it was.

It’s been over a year since I was last on tumblr. I don’t really play SSO anymore, I’m pretty much full time with my horses now. Phoenix and Avalon are all grown up. Phoenix is almost 4, Avalon just turned 3. sweet Autumn is recovering from colic, and I have two new mares on the ranch, Skye (buckskin) and Whisper (yellow dun). This is probably going to be my last post on tumblr, and if I decide to come back, I’ll probably change up my name and become an equestrian poster instead of SSO

The most frustrating part about editing is knowing even if I work extremely hard and it takes almost an hour, nobody even notices, cause it’s not up to the standards of the “best editors”. To be honest it’s extremely disheartening. Sometimes I wonder why I still do it.
