I understand that a lot of people dislike historical media for not being accurate or properly reflecting the era in which the act of fiction is taking place, and I understand from an analytical point of view it is meaningless, it serves no purpose but to occupy my time with fiction, and I so struggle with putting myself first. So, in reflection of Bridgerton Season Three (pt. 1). I am proudly, or not so proudly considering this is my blog with likely no traffic, declaring my affection for this meaningless historical romance novel turned Netflix Original. I am going to take after Colin and Penelope and put myself first or try to anyway. I am already spoken for (with what I believe to be a love match!!) so there is no need for a fairy tale romance, in my case, but they do help me solidify the one thing I know. This life is for fun and joy, it's about caring, it's about loving, experiencing, crying, fearing, hoping, dreaming. This is our one lifetime, we should spend it doing things that we love, and spending time with those that we love. Sometimes I long for the idealism of fiction because in most cases all of the problems are concluded and wrapped in a tight little bow. But I will carry my imperfections with honor as I continue the story that is my life, and I will display my strengths, my hopes, my dreams, my wishes, my sorrows because I would not have it any other way. I am here for the experience, and if anyone reads this, I would love to hear additions or others' reflections of themselves or perhaps of Bridgerton Season 3 pt 2, when it arrives for my viewing pleasure.
