i thought you were my sun. your eyes gleamed like the sky and when you looked at me i could see the stars. the words you said lit up my world and cascaded down in rays that filled me to the brim with light and warmth. you were a constant. my whole center revolved around you.  when you left in the darkness, i thought i lost my light. i swore at the clouds an dreaded the long nights. i grabbed for any inch of beams. i looked up to the sky hoping to see something beautiful again, but even the brilliance of the moon couldn’t replace you.
