KH3 broke into my house and killed me

Sometimes I’ll stop and think about how Aqua never was congratulated on becoming a master, and how her first duty as a master was to spy on her friends, her peers. How her entire arc in birth by sleep is her desperately chasing after her two best friends who are both being manipulated into destructive ends. How she learns that one of her best friends killed the man who taught them, trained them, raised them, and then not five minutes later have her other friend beg her to kill him if things turn out bad. How the last two bosses of the main game for her are her two best friends who have been possessed by the games antagonists. How she turns her home into an unrecognizable tomb to keep one friend safe and lets herself fall into the realm of darkness to save the other. How she spends a decade in that world constantly fighting for her life and being haunted by a phantom of her darkest thoughts, her failures. How after all that time she’s finally weakened to the point that she’s corrupted and starts to turn into something akin to a heartless. How her boss fight’s theme is a haunting, mournful twist on her theme from bbs. How when she wakes up on Destiny Islands her first thought is that it’s once again fallen to darkness, and is then moved to tears upon learning she’s finally free. How she doesn’t give herself the chance to rest before going to rescue Ventus, and then throws herself into a fight with Vanitas despite having fought both Riku and Sora not ten minutes before. How she instantly jumps in front of Ven when a fireball is shot at him and gets hit in the chest (in the SAME EXACT spot she got hit earlier by Ansem that led to her falling to darkness), costing her the fight. How in the Keyblade Graveyard she looked up at the heartless swarm and saw not the creatures she fought countless times in the RoD but herself, fallen to darkness, and is so overwhelmed that she does nothing as it attacks her. How when they’re completely surrounded, her first instinct is to break off and be a distraction to give the others the chance to get away and is only stopped because Ventus said he’d go with her and Axel told them both off that it would’ve only gotten them killed.
