Sunday Riley Good Genes lactic acid serum. I feel like I went through this bottle super fast. Did it deliver? Ehh maybe, but I have so many other products that give a similar effect such as liquid gold and cleanence k. Will I repurchase? Maybe but not before I use up my other similar products.

67 short pieces of advice you didnât ask for
1. Ignore 1-star and 5-star reviews of books, hotels and products. The 3-star reviews will answer all your questions.
2. When youâre a host, use that experience to learn how to be a better guest, and vice-versa.
3. If you want to be fit, become someone who doesnât skip or reschedule workouts. Skipping workouts is always the beginning of the end.
4. Learn keyboard shortcuts. If you donât know what CTRL + Z does, your life is definitely harder than it has to be.
5. Become a strangerâs secret ally, even for a few minutes. Your perception of strangers in general will change.
6. Get over the myth that philosophy is boring â it has a history of changing lives. Itâs only as boring as the person talking about it.
7. If youâre about to put down a boring a non-fiction book, skim the rest of it before you move on. Read the bits that still appeal to you.
8. Ask yourself if youâve become a relationship freeloader. Initiate the plans about half the time.
9. Notice how much you talk in your head, and experiment with listening to your surroundings instead. You canât do both at the same time.
10. Reach out to people you know are shy. Itâs hard for them to get involved in social things without somebody making a point of including them.
11. Learn the difference between something that makes you feel bad, and something thatâs wrong. A thing can feel bad and be right, and it can feel good and be wrong.
12. If you need to stop for any reason in a public place, move off to the side first.
13. Before you share an interesting âfactâ on Facebook, take thirty seconds to Google it first, to see if youâre spreading made-up bullshit.
14. Clean things up right away, unless your messes tend to improve with age.
15. Consciously plan your life, or others will do it for you.
16. Be suspicious when someone uses the words âJusticeâ and âDeserveâ a lot. Be suspicious when you use them yourself.
17. Get rid of stuff you donât use. Unused and unappreciated things make us feel bad.
18. Expect people to get offended sometimes when you try to tell them what to do. Even if you think itâs good advice :)
19. Once in a while, imagine what it would be like if you really did lose all your data and had only your current backups.
20. Spend as long as it takes â five or ten years even â to move towards a line of work that feels well-suited to you.
21. Rediscover board games. Theyâre still tons of fun.
22. Try making small, humble presents instead of buying big ones, and see how different it feels for both you and the recipient.
23. To eat fewer calories, eat a lot slower than normal and see what changes.
24. Watch experts perform their chosen art whenever you get a chance. Thereâs something really grounding about it.
25. Avoid arguing about politics, except for entertainment value. By the time itâs an argument, nobodyâs listening.
26. Ledger all your income, purchases and expenses, at least for a whole month. You canât help but discover wasteful spending. Itâs like giving yourself a raise.
27. When someone disagrees with you, try to understand what needs and fears are behind their stance. Yours probably arenât much different.
28. When driving, pretend the other drivers are all friends and relatives. It makes the driving experience friendlier, and often hilarious.
29. Donât act while youâre still angry. Anger makes the wrong things seem right, and remorse lasts way longer than anger.
30. Understand that whatâs dangerous and whatâs illegal are always going to be different, and need to be. It doesnât always make sense to criminalize something just because it can be harmful.
31. Donât be late. Everyone hates waiting for late people.
32. Read Richard Carlsonâs classic Donât Sweat the Small Stuff. Â Or read it again if itâs been a while. Fifteen years after I first read it, I canât think of a more helpful book.
33. Be aware of the complex, systemic nature of the worldâs biggest problems, and our habit of framing them as simple ones with clear villains and victims.
34. When youâre with a loved one, pretend momentarily that theyâre actually gone from your life, and that youâre just remembering this ordinary moment with them.
35. Make of point of sitting and chatting with at least one local whenever you travel. It will transform your view of the place. [Itâs easy to meet a local resident for coffee using couchsurfing.org]
36. Experiment with meditation. It gives you tools to mitigate nearly every thing human beings complain about â fear, boredom, loss, envy, pain, sadness, confusion, and doubt â yet remains unpopular in the West.
37. Give classical music another shot every few years.
38. Read a bit about some of the âismsâ you normally dismiss â socialism, capitalism, conservatism, feminism, anarchism. There are probably more good ideas there than you thought.
39. Be wary of declaring yourself a â_____istâ though. Making an identity out of your beliefs is bound to make you less objective.
40. Picture yourself at your own funeral. Imagine what they are thinking.
41. Donate clothes that you donât feel good wearing.
42. Practice opening up to minor discomfort when it happens â really letting yourself feel it instead of resisting it. Everything becomes easier to handle.
43. Listen to Dolly Partonâs âJoleneâ slowed down to 33 rpm, at least once in your life.
44. Donât make jokes about peopleâs names or bodies, even if you think they would laugh.
45. Make a point of enjoying the walk across the parking lot.
46. Understand the concept of âprivilege,â but donât use it as a slur. Use your privilege for good.
47. Donât limit your compassion to people who donât cause any harm (because there are none.)
48. Be aware of the intoxicating effect of bad moods. A bad mood usually means things are better than they look.
49. Once in a while, imagine that this moment is the very first moment of your life, and then build a future from there.
50. Go to your cityâs low-key ethnic restaurants instead of flashy chain establishments â not to âhelp out the little guyâ but because theyâre better and cheaper.
51. Avoid being the least sober person in the room, unless youâre the only person in the room.
52. Go to New York, at least once.
53. Consider keeping a bucket list that you take seriously. They stave off complacency.
54. Remember that youâre essentially no different from prehistoric humans, except that you have tools and advantages they would find ridiculous.
55. If life ever feels like itâs too loud and busy, go hang out at the library.
56. Never hide from truths about your financial position. If youâre afraid to know your bank balance, you have a problem bigger than money problems.
57. If you think dancing isnât for you, try it again sometime.
58. When youâre about to buy something, think about what feeling youâre actually after. Ultimately we only want things because of how they promise to make us feel.
59. Floss every day. You can fool yourself but you canât fool your dentist, or your teeth.
60. Be extra kind to people while they are at work, especially servers, clerks, and tech support staff.
61. Whenever youâre being contradicted, try not to get caught up in being defensive. Youâre either right, or you get to learn something new today.
62. At least consider taking religionâs five central no-noâs seriously: donât steal, donât lie, donât kill, donât harm people with your reproductive urges, and donât drink so much that you forget the other four.
63. Own at least one plant. Theyâll never judge you, but theyâll let you know if youâre being careless.
64. Try not to let a week go by without having lunch or coffee with a friend.
65. Do 30-day experiments for fun and sport â try out a new way of doing something for a while. Even if theyâre train wrecks you always learn something about yourself.
66. Appeal to your friends for their expertise. You get good advice, they feel valued.
67. Write people letters. Everyone loves getting letters.

I say no worries a lot for someone who worries 101% of the time
âWe are the girls with anxiety disorders, filled appointment books, five-year plans. We take ourselves very, very seriously. We are the peacemakers, the do-gooders, the givers, the savers. We are on time, overly prepared, well read, and witty, intellectually curious, always moving⌠We pride ourselves on getting as little sleep as possible and thrive on self-deprivation. We drink coffee, a lot of it. We are on birth control, Prozac, and multivitamins⌠We are relentless, judgmental with ourselves, and forgiving to others. We never want to be as passive-aggressive as our mothers, never want to marry men as uninspired as our fathers⌠We are the daughters of the feminists who said, âYou can be anything,â and we heard, âYou have to be everything.â

24 Invaluable Skills To Learn For Free Online This Year
Hereâs an easy resolution: This stuff is all free as long as you have access to a computer, and the skills you learn will be invaluable in your career, and/or life in general.Â
1. Become awesome at Excel.
Chandoo is one of many gracious Excel experts who wants to share their knowledge with the world. Excel excellence is one of those skills that will improve your chances of getting a good job instantly, and it will continue to prove invaluable over the course of your career. What are you waiting for?
2. Learn how to code.
littleanimalgifs.tumblr.com
Perhaps no other skill you can learn for free online has as much potential to lead to a lucrative career. Want to build a site for your startup? Want to build the next big app? Want to get hired at a place like BuzzFeed? You should learn to code. There are a lot of places that offer free or cheap online coding tutorials, but I recommend Code Academy for their breadth and innovative program. If you want to try a more traditional route, Harvard offers its excellent Introduction to Computer Science course online for free.
3. Make a dynamic website.
You could use a pre-existing template or blogging service, or you could learn Ruby on Rails and probably change your life forever. Hereâs an extremely helpful long list of free Ruby learning tools that includes everything from Rails for Zombies to Learn Ruby The Hard Way. Go! Ruby! Some basic programming experience, like one of the courses above, might be helpful (but not necessarily required if youâre patient with yourself).
4. Learn to make a mobile game.
If youâre not interested in coding anything other than fun game apps, you could trythis course from the University of Reading. It promises to teach you how to build a game in Java, even if you donât have programming experience! If you want to make a truly great game, you might want to read/listen up on Game Theory first.
5. Start reading faster.
Spreeder is a free online program that will improve your reading skill and comprehension no matter how old you are. With enough practice, you could learn to double, triple, or even quadruple the speed at which you read passages currently, which is basically like adding years to your life.
6. Learn a language!
With Duolingo, you can learn Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, or English (from any of the above or more). Thereâs a mobile app and a website, and the extensive courses are completely free.
Full disclosure: BuzzFeed and other websites are in a partnership with DuoLingo, but they did not pay or ask for this placement.
7. Pickle your own vegetables.
Tired of your farmerâs market haul going bad before you use it all? Or do you just love tangy pickled veggies? You too can pickle like a pro thanks to SkillShare and Travis Grillo.
8. Improve your public speaking skills.
You can take the University of Washingtonâs Intro to Public Speaking for free online. Once you learn a few tricks of the trade, youâll be able to go into situations like being asked to present at a company meeting or giving a presentation in class without nearly as much fear and loathing.
9. Get a basic handle of statistics.
UC Berkeley put a stats intro class on iTunes. Once you know how to understand the numbers yourself, youâll never read a biased ânewsâ article the same way again â 100% of authors of this post agree!
10. Understand basic psychology.
Knowing the basics of psych will bring context to your understanding of yourself, the dynamics of your family and friendships, whatâs really going on with your coworkers, and the woes and wonders of society in general. Yale University has its Intro to Psychology lectures online for free.
11. Make your own music.
Step one: Learn how to play guitar: Justin Guitar is a fine and free place to start learning chords and the basic skills youâll need to be able to play guitar â from there, itâs up to you, but once you know the basics, just looking up tabs for your favorite songs and learning them on your own is how many young guitar players get their start (plus itâs an excellent party trick).
Step two: A delightful free voice lesson from Berklee College Of Music.
Step three: Have you always thought you had an inner TSwift? Berklee College of Music offers an Introduction to Songwriting course completely for free online. The course is six weeks long, and by the end of the lesson youâll have at least one completed song.
Step four: Lifehackerâs basics of music production will help you put it all together once you have the skills down! Youâll be recording your own music, ready to share with your valentine or the entire world, in no time!
12. Learn to negotiate.
Let Stanfordâs Stan Christensen explain how to negotiate in business and your personal life, managing relationships for your personal gain and not letting yourself be steamrolled. There are a lot of football metaphors and itâs great.
13. Stop hating math.
If you struggled with math throughout school and now have trouble applying it in real-world situations when it crops up, try Saylor.orgâs Real World Math course. It will reteach you basic math skills as they apply IRL. Very helpful!
14. Start drawing!
All kids draw â so why do we become so afraid of it as adults? Everyone should feel comfortable with a sketchbook and pencil, and sketching is a wonderful way to express your creativity. DrawSpace is a great place to start. (I also highly recommend the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain if you can drop a few dollars for a used copy.)
15. Make your own animated GIF.
BuzzFeedâs own Katie Notopoulos has a great, simple guide to making an animated GIF without Photoshop. This is all you need to be the king or queen of Tumblr or your favorite email chains.
16. Appreciate jazz.
reddit.com
Have you never really âgottenâ jazz? If you want to be able to participate in conversations at fancy parties and/or just add some context to your appreciation of all music, try this free online course from UT Austin.
17. Write well.
Macalester Collegeâs lecture series is excellent. If youâre more interested in journalism, try Wikiversityâs course selection.
18. Get better at using Photoshop.
Another invaluable skill that will get you places in your career, learning Photoshop can be as fun as watching the hilarious videos on You Suck At Photoshop or as serious as this extensive Udemy training course (focused on photo retouching).
19. Take decent pictures.
Lifehackerâs basics of photography might be a good place to start. Learn how your camera works, the basic of composition, and editing images in post-production. If you finish that and youâre not sure what to do next, hereâs a short course on displaying and sharing your digital photographs.
20. Learn to knit.
Instructables has a great course by a woman who is herself an online-taught knitter. Youâll be making baby hats and cute scarves before this winterâs over!
21. Get started with investing in stocks.
If you are lucky enough to have a regular income, you should start learning about savings and investment now. Investopedia has a ton of online resources, including this free stocks basics course. Invest away!
22. Clean your house in a short amount of time.
Unf$#k Your Habitat has a great emergency cleaning guide for when your mother-in-law springs a surprise visit on you. While youâre over there, the entire blog is good for getting organized and clean in the long term, not just in âemergencies.â Youâll be happier for it.
23. Start practicing yoga.
Most cities have free community classes (try just searching Google or inquiring at your local yoga studio), or if youâre more comfortable trying yoga at home, YogaGlohas a great 15-day trial and Yome is a compendium of 100% free yoga videos. If youâre already familiar with basic yoga positions but you need an easy way to practice at home, I recommend YogaTailorâs free trial as well.
24. Tie your shoelaces more efficiently.
Itâs simple and just imagine the minutes of your life youâll save!
LEARN SOME STATS!!! Â STATS ARE SO GREAT EVERYONE!!
In addition to the link above, statisticshell.com is a FANTASTIC intro stats site, which is course material and links to lectures from Andy Field, who wrote the most understandable stats textbook ever! The book itself is fantastic, but unfortunately, the opposite of free. :)
Happy stats!
So inspired to learn stuff!
