Sam is compelling & underutilized

Sam Winchester psychic powers LGBT+ metaphor -> psychic powers and familial otherisation causing him to free Lucifer -> Lucifer views him as his one true vessel using romantic language with possession as a constant metaphor for sexual relations -> Sam says yes to Lucifer and uses his psychic powers right before -> Sam is eternally punished for his crimes in hell, at the hands of Lucifer who tortures & rapes him -> Sam never uses his psychic powers again

also making Sam like. having tons of homophobia thrown his way during the show but also only having his experience of homosexuality be rape at the hands of the devil in hell that's also mostly just used to further degrade him is just a whole choice in on itself.

If Castiel knew about the shipping in SPN he would've helped Sam come up with a name for them. And they would've landed on Samstiel because it includes Sam's name. And then they would've landed on a second name that they think means more than mashing their names together.

this show was so insane every other episode they would be like sam winchester is like a house that burned down he’s not even alive he’s falling apart i’ve invaded your brain and i can’t believe you live like this you’re a mess you can handle an unholy amount of torture because you’ve been tortured so much already your soul is like a crumpled old receipt at the bottom of god’s purse

Sam praying for a sign after Jess dies, he just wants reassurance that it wasn’t his fault. But the next church they pass has a sign that reads “jes s died for your sins” and. Well obviously the u just fell out, it must be a coincidence.. But he did ask for a sign. And here it is: a house of God directly telling him it was his fault she died. He doesn’t think it’s a coincidence.
