The place/context doesnt make sense. Ex: A homeless person asleep in a park during the day does make sense. An employee asleep on the floor in the middle of their shift does not make sense. Someone dressed in going out clothes passed out near a bar probably needs medical attention, a homless person who sleeps behind a bar just because thats where they happen to sleep, does not.

This goes as well for someone slumped over their vehicle in the middle of traffic. Someone asleep in their car in a parking lot should be left alone. Someone slumped in traffic is usually a drunk driver or could be having a medical emergency.

They haven't changed positions in a long time (usually several hours). A person can be alseep in the same spot all day, but a person who is in the *exact* same position all day is unusual

They have obvious injuries/active bleeding or you saw them fall to the ground

They have limbs sticking upright while they're laying down and not moving (this is probably a dead body stay away from them)

Do not try to wake sleeping people even if you think they're icky and should move (I have been attacked more than once responding to a sleeping person who was startled awake and defensive)

Then Just.... Don’t turn them off then, dickface...
