Headcanon 1: Realistic
The fastest but least durable Stunticon. His engine blow outs happen frequently, to the point that Hook has had to make engines as spares and has had to repair the current engine Drag Strip is using more than Hook would like to count.
Headcanon 2: May or not be realistic
If he ever had a holoform, he would have freckles. I don't know why, he just... says "freckles" to me.
Headcanon 3: Evil and heart-breaking why would you do this
Drag Strip knows, deep down, that he's the most replaceable Stunticon. His behaviors come from fearing being replaced and wanting to be deemed as "special"/"necessary"/etc or he will be discarded after yet another failure on the battlefield or yet another injury that Hook tires of fixing.
Headcanon 4: Doesn't align with canon (or maybe even reality) but I do what I want
He and Slingshot always find each other's social media accounts and attack each other with petty insults, throwing mean words or calling the other one a "loser" or insulting the other's team.

actually this ended up getting kinda long so i put the rest below haha!
my first exposure to the stunticons was the g1 cartoon, they're so fun in that even if they don't appear that much, and i liked whenever they'd show up and really live up to their team name lol. if i had any less restraint i'd just sit here listing off every little moment from the show featuring them that i like 😭 i also really love the aerialbots, i kinda wish both teams got to interact more...they should not be deprived of their right to punch each other in the face.
i'm not actually sure what made me single out drag strip as my favourite to begin with...i think the stunticons were just on my mind a lot and he stuck out to me (clearly it was because he was the best and the coolest and the fastest 🙄). i just think he's such a fun character...i love his nasty attitude, actually i think i'm just partial to him being a bit of an insufferable loser nobody likes lol...i think he has a lot of insecurities stewing away in there and it makes him very fun to think about. i find him very endearing and i love rooting for him to come out on top lmao XD
also i think the p34 is such an awesome car, it suits him so well and i love that it being his alt mode means he gets to have six wheels, that's so fun to me. honestly i just love his g1 design in general...it's very stupid, i love that his engine is a lego brick.
anyway yeah, i know he's not usually ppl's favourite stunticon (or character in general lol)...but i think he's great :)
as for why i like the stunticons as a whole...there's so much i could say haha! (this goes for the aerialbots too) but i think it's really fun that they're all really young, it gives them a kinda different perspective on things compared to the other bots/cons. the stunticons are basically a bunch of rowdy teenagers and it makes them very endearing haha! i also like their kinda dysfunctional family dynamic...i think they have a lot on their plates and are not especially equipped to deal with any of it...and i like thinking about how they might change both as individuals but also as a team as more time passes.
also i just love combiner teams lmaooo
umm if i met the stunticons in real life i would probably just hope they didn't immediately squash me <<' actually i think wildrider is the stunticon i would most like to hang out with irl! doing what? who knows...but i think it would be fun :)

Funny thing: my mother found like a bright green jacket and asked, if I wanted to have it. Before getting into Transformers I would've declined, since I don't often wear green
