Me again. I forgot one thing. People think we hate Elta because we want to sleep with Jensen when there's literally so many reasons. Let me say that I do find his characters attractive because his natural charisma seeps in. But Jensen is like an empty space. If anything, he comes off as aloof when he talks about marriage. I'd rather have a husband like Jared who worships his wife. Even if it turns out it's PR (but you really can't fake the way he looks at her!), he sells it so well. If I was somehow married to Jensen, I don't know. It comes off that Elta is stuck at home a lot and she's basically a housewife (even though I'm pretty sure there are nannies and maids so what does she do with her days). I'm a person that needs to work and be independent and I would honestly feel crapped in a kind of situation where my husband is at work all the time and I wasn't contributing in any way (this could be false but based on what has been said at conventions, this is the picture that is being told to us).

I adore Jensen and want to see him succeed, and if the real Jensen would be my partner, then I would be hard pressed to decline. However, if the dynamic between them is him and his ego and not the result of an emotionally neglected relationship and potentially abusive partner, no thanks. A hot night would suffice. I deserve better. Any partner does.

Before I started my own mental health journey, and my husband and I started couples therapy, we both saw ourselves as the victim. Meanwhile, we each did some pretty shitty things and received some shitty things from one another.

Jensen loves to paint Danneel as the queen B (your choice of b) and there is likely truth to much of what he says. But I have always thought perhaps it comes from a bit of indifference and laziness in investing in the marriage. He said something in a panel once of coming home to her rules and routines, not disrupting them, since she’s the one home most of the time. While that sounds like he’s acknowledging her dominion at home, it is also the easy way out of real responsibility and leaving the workload and heavy lifting to the wife as many men do.

We made the same face when we heard about what happened @beausvalleygirl1 😂 YALL LEAVE JENSEN ALONE! No one knows Dean better than he does. He said no, that means NO! End. Of. Story.

He doesn’t owe us anything.

He doesn't have to spend his weekends at conventions, and he definitely doesn't have to sit on a stage and be argued with about his own character just because it conflicts with a fan fantasy.

Write your fics, ship your ships, do your thing-but keep it in fan spaces. If you want to talk about it at a con, talk to Misha, since he's the one who likes to play into that dynamic.

Jensen is there because he loves the SPN family, not because he has to be. He is one of the kindest, most generous actors with his time and stories. Don't ask a question if you're only looking for a specific answer. He deserves respect, period.

Had he walked off that stage I would have applauded him, had he been more aggressive I would have applauded him. Instead he kept his composure, he wasn’t hateful. Because that’s who he is.

That entire situation was complete bullshit.

And I’m not just saying it because it’s Jensen. I’d feel the same way if Jared had been treated that way.

If this keeps up they could stop doing cons all together.

But having that partner; someone to rely on, someone who would rely on you, is sometimes the only thing that got us through. But when someone needs you like that, showing up for that person matters more than anything else.

I'm back to blocking Mishap fanatics and apologists on Instagram, so business as usual. With no interaction because I am a nice person, and you can lead a horse to holy water but you can't make them drink. I just block and move on. But the thing that made me post now was what one said. I can't remember their name but it included Padalecki so I expected some sense.

They made a multi page text post about how Jensen will be fine with all the hate and accusations because he's a millionaire so who cares if he's upset.

What the fuck.

And he still did this.

1) Jensen, Jared, and Sam are in color coordination

2) Jensen wants the audience to show love to Jared even though he has holes in his socks (again 😭)

3) Jensen, Jared, and Sam recreated the Pearl scene from Supernatural bloopers 😆

4) Jared talks about being nervous to be on set for The Boys and says “when your best friend on the planet (Jensen) says you’re gonna love something, you trust it.”

5) Jack Quaid told Jared of how Jensen talked about him SO much on set, praising Jared so much 🤭

6) Jensen starts randomly singing for Jared, making him blush on stage 💕

And Samantha is so beautiful. Like, as a person when I've met her she just seems so nice and a calming presence. She's also a beautiful woman, which she had to be to play the mum of those gorgeous boys.

Onwards and upwards, with J2 rising to the top and reminding everyone why we were captivated by the show. They were the magic to it.

Anyone saying that Jensen has changed his stance, or he goes “back and forth”, is being disingenuous (I’m being very polite here).

The fact that Misha backed him up is almost unheard of. He plays up the “grand love story Destiel” so much that his responses here are pretty extraordinary. Wonder if he got told off about his hard lean in to Destiel or if the panel, and atmosphere in the room, was so bad even he felt he needed to be honest.
