Saw this regarding the discussion about outfits/splurging on fashion and wanted to chime in. Jensen absolutely has insecurities and seems pretty sensitive to feedback sometimes. Not sure what con, but there's a clip of him in a panel years ago talking about how a fan criticized him for wearing something he'd worn at a previous con.
Since then, he's been deteremined to wear new clothing for each con appearance. Clearly the upset about his clothing made an impact, so it makes sense to me that he'd show out with new fits for cons and wear those items again outside of that environment. Sucks that some "fans" feel so entitled to him/having a special moment with him that they end up tearing him down for ridiculous reasons.
Unfortunately, entitlement runs high within the SPN fandom. There’s zero wrong with rewearing outfits. Jensen should be wearing what he loves only, I hope he is.
I'm so tired of Hellers calling Jensen homophobic. I see them so often on twitter (despite never showing interest in those posts, thanks, algorithm) and they truly believe he's homophobic because he doesn't pander to their fictional ship
Jensen supports LGBTQIA+ community and there is evidence of that online!
So hellers looking to start rumors can miss me with their delulu. Destiel never was. First of all, Castiel is an Angel of the lord and only feels agape love, second of all Dean had zero feelings towards Castiel. I can get people loving a ship but what I cannot forgive is the cruelty of pushing a sexuality Jensen clearly does not share upon him and harassing him about it.
I think they know full well Jensen isn’t homophobic, they are just trying to bully him into validating their ship by triangulating and starting rumors. All of those people belong in therapy. Harassing people over a fictional ship is delulu.

Mishit saying that kind of stuff on his panel is routine; everyone knows all he wants is to provoke a reaction. He'll never actually pander for another ship because there's no money for him except in Destiew, but his "humor" still consists of sexual things, and he uses it with practically everyone. Matt Cohen's thing isn't new either, he's always saying things like that about Jensen, also to provoke a reaction.
But I think the sad thing is that this is Jensen's routine at CE conventions: he practically travels miles to get there (even after working all day), he has to go through dozens of photo ops and autograph sessions with all kinds of fans, many of whom simply see him as a doll to project their fantasies onto, which isn't unusual with celebrities, but with him, it's downright grotesque. But on top of that, he has to put up with his coworkers using him as a sex object to generate interaction in their crappy panels where they don't even have anything new to say after all these years. And on top of that, there are the hellers trying to set traps for him so he'll say something that feeds their fantasies or so they can call him homophobic and cancel him. What a sad routine, indeed.
It genuinely makes me sick he has to endure all this bullshit. I know he’s paid well but goddamn. Is it really worth it at the end of the day?
JFC, everything I'm reading so far about the Toronto SPN convention so far is making me want to vomit and it's only Saturday. Matt Cohen, Misha and some fans being absolutely disgusting and it's blowing my mind. The bar is on the damn floor. The time to end these Creation Cons is now. This Frankenstein monster these people have enabled and created is OUT OF CONTROL.
I'm SO grateful as a Jared fan that he didn't sign on to an exclusive contract with that disgusting company. I'm really hoping Jensen wises up and does the same soon.
