I’m so glad other music nerds understand the fucking struggle that is The Circle of Fifths. It’s so useful for songwriters so that you can choose chords that are always in the same key, but it’s also 1,000% algebra and I am NOT good at math or problem solving😭

#thank god GarageBand basically has a version of this in the app so I can see with AND play with different chords in ANY key😭

Gilbert Baker added a 9th stripe shortly before his death, with the new stripe representing diversity. He added this stripe in reaction to the 2016 US election. It’s unfortunately not as well known as the 8 and 6 striped versions.
