Marwood "Marnie" Soyer-Crumble
- Born June 24 1926 in Mouseburg.
- British-American (in my hcs, Milford Soyer is British and raised in Mouseburg while her mom is from Shrewticket)
- Marnie's mother is Sunny Crumble - she's a shrew who currently works as a maid in the Gruyere & Co restaurant in Mouseburg. Marnie's biological father is Milford Soyer, politician of BMP and a mouse her mother had an affair with.
- Sunny considered abandoning her child once she was born. But she changed her mind because she didn't want Marnie to be mistreated.
- Marnie is half-shrew half-mouse, but she's also more mouse than shrew.
- She's Millie Curd's bestie, and they're a bit similar.
- Marnie is bossy, selfish, bratty, & calculating, spoiled and temperamental, but also kind, compassionate and isn't racist towards rats or shrews.
- She is a pretty ladylike girl in appearance. BUT... only in appearance. Because... she's a tomboy.
- Dreams of becoming a politician when growing up.
- My voice claim for her is Kimiko Glenn.
- If Marnie is the way she is, it's because of her mother who spoils her and had affairs with many men, including her father Milford Soyer... and later, Cameron Bozo and Cornelius Stilton. No wonder she's more like her dad.
- She and Millie used to bully Mickey and Minnie's daughter, Misty, until they became friends.
- Marnie has a crush on a cat - Cory Katphish (SMG4) (via time travel)
**(yes, it’s a multifandom crossover AU, and 1934 is the ancient equivalent of 2024). It’s like in Hazbin Hotel: characters from diff. universes live together.**
- Sometimes, Sunny would have three choices:
1. Leave her daughter to a caretaker so that the affair wouldn't be revealed (only happened ONCE): Sunny thought the nanny would never hurt a fly. Pointed out she was wrong: & she'd have to hear Marnie telling her that she "shot (her) caretaker because he tried to kill her" so Sunny realized she should've listened to her kid.
2. Take her to work and lying to everyone that Marnie is her "niece" (very often (until BMP’s fallout)): Only Jack, Cornelius, Tammy, John, Steve and Millie know the secret.
3. Take Marnie to school before work (sometimes): Marnie has school from 8 AM to 5 PM three days a week. Especially since she has singing class on Tuesdays.
- Marnie inherited her mom’s intelligence, empathy, range of teeth and thin, white tail. However, she also inherited her dad’s hair color, authoritarian trait, egoism, narcissism, impulsivity, ambitious trait and (selective) cruelty... and his mouse genes even more.
- Sunny, in contrast of her ex and her daughter, is a clingy, empathetic, kind, selfless, frank, optimistic and energetic shrew.
- She is friends with Millie Curd, Zack, Katie and Cory Katphish, Misty Mouse and Annia Von Harzer; Millie is the leader of the group. Annia's mother is Layana Queso, while her dad was a mad scientist who worked for BMP and would later be the responsible of shrew trafficking. And let’s not forget Regina Brest, Reginald Schlinger and Mrs. Brest’s daughter and Leah Schlinger - Gruyere’s half-sister. Like with Millie and Marnie, they were born from affairs. However, their moms raised them, just like Marnie’s mom, unlike Millie who never met hers until she turned 8.
- We can see Marnie next to her mom’s café where we can interact with her.
- Since Marnie and Millie are two besties, they are like two peas in a pod.
- Marnie can’t bear seeing her loved ones suffer or being disrespected: even seeing Millie with her vile caretaker or in her ruined room is enough to break her heart. Marnie may be a manipulative spoiled little brat, but she’s also a jerkass with a heart of gold (or a heart of jerk, depending on the person)!
- Even if her frenemies (and opps) are Katie and Misty and even if Millie Curd and Zack are her best friends, she develops a deep hatred towards her friend’s father Miles Curd for what she and his party did to shrews like her mother and Millie’s. On top of that, she didn’t know her dad was the leader of the Big Mouse Party (that she pettily calls “DUMP” or commonly “Deeply Useless Mouse Party”)... and she didn’t know him!
- By the way, Marnie doesn’t respect Miles Curd AT ALL.
- Like any character, Marnie has some berserk buttons. You want to piss her off? Okay - call Millie an ugly monster and Cory a freak; your parents will be found inkless in a few hours because a cult gathered their inks for their business. Wanna piss her off more? Well, harm Jack and his allies, insult John or her mom or try to bully her or hurt Steve Bandel - in a few seconds or a few days, your house is burnt to the ground OR lose your lover over accusations that are made up!
- Marnie and her mom live in an apartment with a nice layout.
- Born December 2nd 1900 in Shrewticket
- Maid of the Gruyère Restaurant that is close to the school her daughter goes in.
- Mother of Marnie, a half-mouse half-shrew daughter she had from an affair with Milford Soyer.
- Her parents were bankers and jewelers who raised their daughter peacefully. The Crumble family wasn’t rich, but they were happy.
- As an adult, Sunny became a jeweler herself – unfortunately, 10 years ago, Shrewthicket got destroyed and many shrews (like her and John Brown who feld in Mouseburg) fled elsewhere.
- At first, Sunny struggled to find a job because of stigma and discrimination. But she’s made friends like Cornelius, Steve, Jack and Wanda. John invited her to work with him during that time.
- In 1925, something will change Sunny’s life forever : her meeting with… tadaaaaaaaaaaam !! Milford Soyer. He was already rising among other BMP politicians as the leader of the party. Knowing how many men were in Sunny’s life, she was withdrawn and beautifully terrified of Soyer’s charisma.
- Despite this, Sunny was also annoyed at how stupid Soyer was at times.
- After their meeting, the shrew lady and the mouse had an affair. But Soyer already moved on, so she didn’t tell him about herself having his child.
- At first, Sunny thought about abandoning her baby. But she decided to keep Marnie after her birth because of how orphanages treated kids. So it would’ve been a bad idea to leave baby Marnie there.
- Sunny is slightly taller than her kid.
- Sunny is a king, energic, smart, brave, kind and compassionate shrew who isn’t afraid to say what she thinks and who makes people smile.
- Sunny isn’t afraid of her daughter...she’s afraid of HOW DANGEROUS she can be when pushed.
- Sunny has Stockholm syndrome.
- John is Sunny’s uncle because he married her mother’s sister before her death. Now he’s dating Steve’s mother, Sally Bandel (who’s a year younger than him) since two months.
- She loves her daughter a lot, but she's also afraid of her at times since she had her with the leader of the Big Mouse Party.
- Sunny is a kind-hearted person with everyone, and is a doting and humble parent at the same time, but she is also a Disneyland mom who wins her kid's affection by taking them to expensive places.
- She had no idea how to raise a child the first weeks she had Moon, since the kid was conceived when she and Soyer didn't attend to have kids. But over time and now, she became a clingy and open-minded mom who loves her kid to embarrassing extremes…
- Sunny has a VERY BIG family, including her parents, 2 siblings, 4 uncles, 6 aunts (including one who died), 8 cousins, and 10 first cousins once removed.
