holy yaori 🤤
ignore the lazy ass backgroundpleasethankyou
Feel like if me and Ego Renegade Boy met, we'd start complimenting each other in gender affirming ways and it'd somehow smoothly slip into extremely suggestive flirting and then straight up aggressive french kissing in front of our friends.
No, I'm not even into him. I'm just sure we'd somehow end up pushing each other's buttons just the right way.
So I need to ask because this is a little concerning for me. Where did the term "yaori" come from? Because yaoi and yuri are specific terms with a really deep history in international fandom culture. And the closest things I can find for "yaori" outside of it being an actual name in Japan is some pretty enbyphobic stuff.
Yaori is a joke. Its a combination of yaoi and Yuri so ppl made a joke that het ships are called yaori
A quick Google search tells you all you need. Its fandom slang.
It primarily comes from this joke:
And I like to use yaori cuz using the term het ship sounds like the characters is a heterosexual which not true for the majority of the Hazbin hotel characters. They are not exclusively heterosexual. And until a better term comes up for liking the opposite gender without it being ONLY the opposite gender I like to use yaori as a joke and to be more open. If that makes sense.
