If someone tells you itโs ridiculous or childish to mourn the death of a fictional character, disrespectfully tell them to fuck off.
Yes, we know theyโre fictional characters. We know theyโre not real, but weโve grown emotionally attached to them and we find our comfort in them. So we have the rights to cry and grieve. Our feelings are real and valid, and so is our love for said characters.
Youโre an asshole if you make fun of someone because of this, especially when you donโt know what battle a person might be going through and if that character is the last source of happiness they have left.
