It's About Compulsion. it's about self-imposing endless, bonegrinding punishment for crimes vague and imagined, it's about knowing how you will die and knowing it will be lonely and slow and painful and still feeling, deeply, intuitively, that you must do it. it's about entering a system of constant pain with no option to turn around. it's about pain being made for you. it's about someone lovingly crafting the exact conditions to bring you, personally, the most excruciating pain imaginable, because that is what you deserve. it is about watching others succumb to their compulsions, knowing that it will end in any number of agonies, and still succumbing, because the temptation is too great to resist.
