Look familiar? I decided to photograph it again and repost it for #fanartfriday ! Along with a the LA!Lilina drawing I did, this piece was a pivotal point in my art style. This was the first crossover drawing I had done, so it was hard to find the right art style to use so both characters would look normal. After several failed attempts at the Pokémon art style, I decided to try something completely different with both characters. Coloring this piece was my favorite, as it was really the first piece where I decided to throw around fairly bold colors and see what happened. I think I’ve improved quite a bit since then, but I’m still proud of how it turned out! #inktober #day2 !! I didn’t realize there were official prompts, so I had some people over on DA help me come up with a list of prompts! This one was #scarf (but I added #jazz because it’s Pauline~⭐️🎵⭐️🎶 I usually try not to point out any flaws because I know that 9/10 of the time they’re not entirely noticeable unless I point them out (hopefully). This time, however, I wanted to just practice using copic markers (because I’ve tried and failed MULTIPLE times). The eyes are kinda wacky, the hair is... well, something weird is going on with it 😂 and the body was completely an afterthought. That being said, please direct your attention away from those... this is really just a practice picture, so I know it’s not anywhere near perfect.
