IT'S EITHER A BLESSING OR A LESSON
It was one of those days when I was a little boy and could climb into my mother’s lap and cry until the feeling goes away.
At first it was a rough battle, “how do you even let go of the person that felt like home?” I know it’s over, and it never really began, but in my heart it was so real.
I haven’t weep for years. I think I forgot how to do it. It hurts at the first time, or just like a cliche always said “the blue sky collapse” but it also seems so selfish if I only feel the way I am, only from my side without contemplate what fate wants to do with my life. I pulled myself back to the essence of a relationship. We met people only for two reasons. Either they are a blessing, or they are a lesson.
A lesson learned, indeed. Now I have learned about making sure to be able to stand up in heartbreaks, before to think about fall for someone.
I know I will. People said time will heal, and for me, the sooner I accept the reality, the quicker I’ll be healed. And I’m on my way on that, I can be rest assured.
And the time itself will be divided in two parts, before this and after this. And there is a huge difference between only knowing the path before this, and walking the path after this. Again, a lesson learned.
The best is yet to come, but it will, for sure. It’s all about time, I have faith on that.
In the end, it’s okay if I’m not their favorite chapter they have written. But I hope that they sometimes smile when they flip back to the page I was still a part of.
I wish them all the best the world can give. That’s just my ultimate wish, a very simple one, sincerely.
