Biggest insult today "You're dependent!" or "You're codependent!"
Easy to get that in your face. Especially from people who unlike me hate their families. And think they are lucky to run. I didn't get such comments but the discourse online seems it's easy.
I can't relate to them. My family isn't super perfect, and I am not confident in their ability to save me from myself... but I see their effort.
I think I could be yelled at "You're a loser and a bad example! Anybody good could separate from family and stand on their feet!" I think that could happen. It doesn't, but I often imagine that.
Yes I think I am dependent. But also rather lucky. Even with let's say my family having some weird quirks... let's say my mom's weird obsession with astrology... I even have one as well now! That's why we truly are a family, we are alike!
There's this idea of "Ditch them! Ditch him! You can find better! Optimize! Upgrade! Betray and find better!" I don't believe that THIS is better, though. And what's an idea for a non-believer?
