Hi, I'm Star and I've always liked drawing but haven't spent time doing so in like, way too long. I really want to get into digital drawing so my posts are kind of like a digital diary showing my progress :D

i've waited a year to post this and i messed it up

Alejandro - dinosaur hyperfixation. yes. yes. make him infodump about dinosaurs all day long pls. i love it. - religious guilt (catholic flavored), less fun than dinosaurs. only José made his confirmation, Carlos (who had refused to do it) was kicked out around the time Alejandro was supposed to make his, and so when he didn't it kinda got brushed aside until everything settled and his parents could properly be mad. they only bring it up to shame him.

Heather - she only dated alejandro for clout. i truly believe this. (she's a lesbian i don't make the rules) - can and will destroy you in mario kart. mains pink gold peach.

Noah - trans (ftm). no explanation needed - doesn't like music. as someone who loves music so much this one hurts me but i know it's true.

Tyler - he's athletic but in a gymnastics way not a basketball way. he eventually gains enough confidence to do cheer, he loves it - wears sweatpants in the summer and shorts in the winter. you know the vibes im talking about.

Gwen - doesn't like people looking in her sketchbook bc she's worried they'll see some of her old fnaf fanart - i'm kidding. the fanart is not old. during the awakathon she yapped to trent about fnaf lore

i will always think about this scene when thinking of heather's backstory. I think he kinda got it right like she was bullied a lot in like middle school and after her mom died she just was not doing good at all and eventually developed an ed and some other very bad coping mechanisms that made her the heather we see in the first season.

anyway i think their parents met after tdi, were married after tda and therefor cody and heather were step siblings during tdwt but didn't tell anyone and after wt heather kinda finally got to process everything that happened both with td and her home life that she fell back into some old habits but this time she had cody who, no matter how much she tried to push him away, did everything he could to help her

cody was ecstatic to get siblings (since he's been neglected and alone his whole life) and loves having heather and her little brother (who i need to fit into all of this) around. I think heather's little brother thinks cody is the coolest person ever with his music and video games. her little brother was too young when heather's mom died so while he misses her he also doesn't quite remember her.

heather's dad was never a good guy, but he got really bad after heather's mom's death. he was always emotionally manipulative but def was an alcoholic that only got worse as the years went on.

heather will remember her mom as a saint, and don't get me wrong she was good, but not quite as good as heather will make her out to be. she was (as much as her dad will disagree bc he sucks) the breadwinner of the house. she ran some richy business and heather was too young to understand how cutthroat her mom was with work- she was ruthless, but a good mom.

when their parents get together (heather's dad and cody's mom- a story for another time) they're no better. heather's dad still drinks, cody's mom is still neglectful, but at least they're not alone anymore. heather's family now has a better source of income that isn't unreliable like her father's job (or lackthereof), and cody has some family that actually cares about him

anyway this turned into a really long rant bc i really have a lot of ideas for these two and will probs eventually do a post more about cody's backstory and i wanna draw them and my hc of their parents and little brother teehe

anyway i think i should just rip off the bandaid and say i'm abandoning it :(

maybe sometime in the future i'll decide I want to continue it but rn i don't really want to. i came up with it when i was still so new to the fandom and new to participating in a fandom space like this and honestly looking through my plans for it i think it's just kinda boring ngl 😭

point is i'm back now and even though i have theatre camp the next 2 weeks (i'm costuming the show) it's not like a sleep away or anything so i should operate the way i do when i have school which means dedicated time for total drama every evening yayyy
