So tired of people saying the wrong pronouns, getting corrected, saying them wrong again and getting corrected, again, just to laugh nervously and go ahead - saying them wrong again. Why are people so entitled to throw away other peoples rights to be respected and have their integrity honoured? Why do people think they have the right to say these things, as if it was a minor flaw that has no urgency to be corrected?

Can you sit in front of a person and disrespect them so much that you feel comfortable to keep harming their existence, just so you can have an easier life and conversation on your terms? Are you choosing to see people the way you think is easier, just to go about your day in the least possible resistance?

Made a promise to myself this year to keep my phone as far away as possible. Tried an Apple Watch - got stressed. Silent notifications, still too much distraction from such a small device that has no particular bigger meaning to my life.

Started reading more, journaling and got back to illustration. A shift happened that was welcomed and felt like peace.

Still missed tracking my steps and see how well I slept during the night, so decided to get a simple Fitbit to keep that data for me.

Received a pre-used one, that smelled a lot of perfume and/or laundry detergent, and instant felt regret.
