okay i know we've talked at length abt the "prep for a burr hole" scene but i can't help it, it's GENUINELY like a top 3 kingdon moment, but SPECIFICALLY...

one of my favorite bits of that scene is langdon's very soft "oh, jesus..." after dana tells him that mel was thrown off the stool. like he sounds genuinely distraught about it. he hadn't seen her basically all morning and in the one (1) hour she's out of his sight, she gets a possible concussion.

all that paired with "you need to get checked out" "i'm fine." "no choice." OHHH FUCK YUM. langdon who cannot grapple with the mere idea of her getting hurt and being the one to look after her personally, to the point of taking her to a separate room away from the noise and leaving the two of them alone....... ohhhh frank you're just as insane as she is. DELIGHTFUL.

AND THEN !!!!! and then putting his worry away just to make her laugh. if you even care. btw. whatever, man. WHATEVER.
