Now I’m starting to act like him. 

I regularly feel terribly lonely during work hours. I’m here and all, interacting and solving everyone’s issues. But deep inside, even though constantly surrounded by 80 or more people, the feeling of not having someone to relate to is terrible. As if one thousand pins where stuck in my chest from inside out.  This war of mine. Is it worth it? When there’s nowhere to go back, no reason to stay, and no garrison where to seek shelter.

Or how about appreciating every moment with them, without mentioning the fact that you know this might me that last of it. Is it selfish?
