i know we all like to joke that “even bastille’s happy songs are sad” (i’m not judging i literally said this myself yesterday) but i think sometimes we lose sight of the fact that they do have some very sweet and very touching songs…. shout out to laughter lines…shut off the lights…flaws has never been my favorite song but the message is so sweet…admit defeat…the anchor!! future holds!!! joy!!! hell, i would argue that almost half of the ampersand album falls into this category
