Known as an "emancipated duel," it was a private event for women only. Baroness Lubinska, physician for the famous 1892 duel between Princess Pauline Metternich and Countess Anastasia Kielmannsegg suggested they duel topless to prevent infection. It was feared that if the swords pierced their clothing, fabric fibers could enter the wound and cause infection. By removing their tops, they ensured cleaner cuts and easier medical care.

Ughhhhhhh. Ugh. I haven’t listened to this album all the way through since last summer I think. It’s a deep freaking cut I need to be in the right headspace or maybe the wrong headspace. It’s a really really good album. My listening experience today wasn’t peak because I really wasn’t peak form but that has nothing to do with the music and everything to do with my 3 hours of sleep. Also because my earbud was being glitchy as fuck which maybe was a sign from god to put the car seat headrest away and listen to the freaking birds. So I did. 10/10 album. I’vw given like everything 8 9 or 10 /10 but that is because I am listening to my music which I like. So I like it
