okay I've wanted to draw this scene for a while, where the Remnant triggers Darquesse near the end of Mortal Coil

It's just such a good scene

You have an unconscious Sanguine, you have Skulduggery talking down his partner, you have older sister Tanith terrified at the realization that Val IS Darquesse, and then at the end of it all you have Skulduggery pressing his gun to her head. Again!

This is the only frame I have sketched out, but I do wanna draw it eventually. It's a very good scene

This bastard IS unfortunately relevant enough to warrant it's own card, despite not even being remotely humanoid.

Seeing as even the Grotesquery is more humanoid than a 'sliver of darkness' with hands and angry eyes, I think this Card wins for "Most Creature" in the entire project.

Honestly every time I reread DD, Miss Nuncio looks a little different. It's usually her hair that changes in my head. I went back n forth between pixie cut or bangs n ponytail a lot for her, so I included both cards.

Table legs, curtesy of Mr. Sanguine. Nuncio's is covered in zombie blood because she was actually kind of a badass before she died. Jib's is pristine because he was eaten before he could use it.

A few of you might be aware that the external hard drive I use- that oh, y'know, only about 8 years worth of artwork files are on- is dying! I literally cannot even access it because it freezes my entire computer as soon as it's plugged in :]]]]

Normally this wouldn't be a huge issue because I was also saving all my files by sending them to myself via a private discord server... up until about a year and a half ago, because I got lazy and hella busy with life.

Thankfully a lot of artwork itself is saved through tumblr or reddit, albeit compressed, lesser quality versions. But all the layered files and the stuff I never posted and a SHIT TON of WIPs will be totally lost and that is really frustrating me.

I'm specifically incredibly frustrated over the Card Project loss, because while I've finished the DD Deck with the exception of the very last card (great timing, right?) I no longer have access to ANY of the layered files, so I can't effectively edit them, or any of the high quality PNGs for this deck because I usually moved them to Discord by the deck and it wasn't finished yet. I will also have totally lost around 10 Remnant-ified character Cards because I made them at the same time as the normal card versions... but didn't save them anywhere except for the drive. Thankfully I DO have all of the Faceless Decks and their layered files, and I was diligent about schedule posting the DD deck to tumblr, so it's not a total loss... but still :/

God I'm so angry at myself xD

Anyway, the drive has been sent into the computer repair shop in a last ditch effort to recover.. anything, really. If it's a total loss or even if they can't recover the most recent stuff, I am not going to be a happy camper, and I apologize in advance because my activity will probably plummet. My motivation has already taken a huge hit and all my drawing time has now been replaced by worrying-about-my-drawings time xD Hopefully most things can be recovered, but we shall see. Lesson learned the hard way :,]

I don't know what it is about this drawing but it just doesn't look like Anton to me??? I can't tell if its the bang strands or the nose, bc previously I've always drawn him with a straight nose.

Every time I draw him with a roman nose I can never get it to look right but that's how I've always pictured him D:

I was going to give her a bunch of rings too, but I feel like Kenspeckle would be much more careful about specific kinds of jewelry, even if he's just giving her mineral water.

I was ALSO going to give her colored vials bc I'm convinced she'd put kool-aid into the water to see how Kenspeckle reacts to the color change... before she drinks it. But I forgot before I colored it and I'm honestly too tired to change it, the layers are all over the place in this file. Which is fitting, I suppose... lol

She's actually wearing the fake glasses in this Card :]

Three Vampires in one deck ?!

I really like this guys name

I did not really like drawing him

Bat like nose :]

I'm struggling to think of the vampiric characters as anything other than sleek/slender/pointy etc. Which is dumb because yes, they're all animalistic, but anyone has the capacity to turn- it's not just one specific body type. Although I guess the way Moloch makes new vampires does give the more fit bodies an edge, since they all have to fight each other... hmm.

Anyway this guy is a dick, but he's a fun character
