You’re probably not going to see much of me for a while. My harddrive was able to be recovered, but my computer is “bleeding” (???) now, and so even if I wanted to I literally cannot draw digitally because the screen is constantly overlaid with some o the window or tab, even if they get closed. No amount of restarting or shutting down is fixing it, and I can’t afford to buy a new laptop or get this ancient one fixed right now, esp so soon after the other hardware mishap.

I wasn’t able to finish the DD deck either- I still have one to go and Tenebrae is just going to have to wait until I get back on my feet I guess.

Then there’s art fight. I don’t even know. I really want to participate, but not having my digital art is reallllly just kicking me when I’m already down. If I get any attacks I’ll be sure to revenge through good old fashioned paper and pencil but I’m already really frustrated with all of this and I tried doodling a bit today to blow off steam and my brain and my hand were just having none of it.

So I’m taking a breather. I’m sure some of you have noticed rn that I havnt been posting anything other than the cards and the wips n that’s bc I havnt made anything new, and I’m sorry about that.

I’m going to continue allowing whatever I have queued to get posted, but then I’ll probably be pretty quiet for a while. I’m incredibly frustrated with this and I’m hoping that making an announcement about it will let my brain shut up a bit.

IRONICALLY this is the card that ended up corrupting my entire fricking hard drive. Because of course it was the one with the primed Desolation Engine. Of COURSE it was. I think what happened is I overwrote the same file too many times too quickly (I kept noticing I’d forgotten tiny little details literally no one was going to notice except me) and I guess something interrupted that and my poor little drive didn’t know what to do and kicked the bucket xD

okay I've wanted to draw this scene for a while, where the Remnant triggers Darquesse near the end of Mortal Coil

It's just such a good scene

You have an unconscious Sanguine, you have Skulduggery talking down his partner, you have older sister Tanith terrified at the realization that Val IS Darquesse, and then at the end of it all you have Skulduggery pressing his gun to her head. Again!

This is the only frame I have sketched out, but I do wanna draw it eventually. It's a very good scene

This will be it's only Card.

This bastard IS unfortunately relevant enough to warrant it's own card, despite not even being remotely humanoid.

Seeing as even the Grotesquery is more humanoid than a 'sliver of darkness' with hands and angry eyes, I think this Card wins for "Most Creature" in the entire project.

It's an angry 7

Here's also my design for a Soul Catcher! They all look a little different, but this is the one Sanguine stole from the Necromancers.
