I once read a post that said that MC is Halsin's comfort character, and I can't keep it out of my mind

Babygirl gets saved from goblins and his grove defended, gets his friend back and shadow curse removed, gets saved from Orin and then asks if you wanna have some of that ass

Oh I absolutely will!!! Like I plan with all other bg3 characters, I am making a post about their journey in the game and their CompanionAU. But I will give the snippet of it here

Thana is a very free spirited and adventurous person. She also has a soft spot for kids because of her past. Her character as a whole felt more in tune for Halsin's nature. I made her when there's was no "go on with your romanced companion after the main plot" for Halsin. I figured Thana of all my tavs/durges would be the most okay with going separate ways afterwards, so I decided to choose her for Halsin. (She initially slept with Astarion but then they decided to be friends during act2 scene.)

Now moving on to the POV of the characters

The funny thing is Thana was attracted to Halsin from the start, if we talking about appearances. He was handsome to her. But they immediately got on the wrong foot. That has to do with a drow specific dialogue option.

"Do you realize, you're asking me to kill a drow?" - it was a dialogue option I chose with more of joke intent. Like "Hey, you're trusting me with this? You're sure you wanna trust a spooky scary drow? Haha jk", because she already killed Gut at that point and was merely teasing.

Halsin's response to that is something like

"You drow are happy to turn on each other for personal gain. Don't pretend otherwise."

See, the thing is, Thana is friendly. She does her best to be approchable. She is happy-go-lucky, a good person with genuine spirit and strong sense of justice. But she's also brash, loud, a tad impulsive and a little petty. It's tiring to constantly have to prove everyone again and again that she is not evil. She knows why people act that way, and she that it wasn't unreasonable to not trust a stranger drow, but she couldn't help her feelings. She would have laughed Halsin's words off with another self deprecating joke, but after dealing with the druid grove all day the spot became very sore. Even if she usually brushes the remarks and insults off, deep down it is an insecurity of hers. They were supposed to be on the same side. She came to rescue him, she was excited to meet him and was going to help with goblin situation anyway. It got to her more than it would on any other day.

So much so she snapped and outright refused to help, stomping away back to the "branding area". Obviously, she didn't mean it. Thana had already made a promise to Zevlor and wasn't planning to go back on her word. She just didn't want to deal with another person immediately assuming things about her. Who wants to accept the druid's help anyway, they could still go to the creche! But after cooling off, she comes to conclusion that it would be unfair of her to deny her companions a potential cure because of her personal issues. She wasn't going back to verbally agree to the deal, of course. That would be proving Halsin right after all. She's doing it for the tieflings first and foremost.

Everything went smoothly. They somewhat "reconciled" at the camp party and Halsin was going to tag along. However, Thana still held a petty grudge against the druid for quite some time after that. ""You drow". Oh I'll show you "you drow", you'll feel real bad for ever saying that to me, just you wait!". She was determined to make him swallow his words. Halsin himself either wasn't noticing Thana's childish behavior, or was just really good at pretending, because everyone esle noticed.

Thana started to warm up to Halsin in act 2. Specifically after the Thaniel mission. Fortunately, or unfortunately, Thana had a soft spot for the children. More so for the abandoned ones. She was doomed to soften up after that. Doesn't mean she stopped mumbling mockeries whenever Halsin preached of the nature and harmony tho.
