You play as Himizu, a meek but skilled computer scientist with an unusual problem; he can't work unless he's under extreme pressure. When his tyrannical boss dies suddenly, he struggles to adapt under his more laidback son. The trajectory of his life from here is in your hands.
You can help him see a life beyond work, leading to friendships and potentially even romance, or you can enable him down a path of destruction as he resorts to desperate measures to replicate the way his old employers made him feel.

HIMIZU KANAI (37, he/him, bisexual, #himizu kanai) - the main character of POCO! an anti-social computer programmer who's been in a lot of offices over the years. how he ended up here is a mystery to everyone but him.
KIERAN STOKES (24, he/him, aroace, #kieran stokes) - the ill-experienced son of himizu's old boss, who has recently taken over his father's company. maybe a little too chill for his own good.
FUMIKO AKAHANE (41, she/her, bisexual, #fumiko akahane) - himizu's coworker, who works as a senior programmer. she's kind but a little awkward, and she often struggles between her ambition and doing the right thing.
MINATO SHIBA (34, he/him, pansexual, #minato shiba) - himizu's coworker, who works in HR. he's just a bit cynical and likes to get drunk when he's off the clock.
C.H.I.E.F. (ageless, it/its, n/a) - himizu's pet project, a computer program with low emissions who acts as his disciplinary aid. himizu wishes for it to become more 'real', so to speak.
