Actually, Sarah has written SA scenes multiple times now in detail. I never said she needed to write a graphic rape scene but if she did it really wouldn’t be an issue? I mean it’s a trauma that many experience unfortunately and ultimately having a main character who goes through that and being able to relate to them can be healing (like Rhys who is a rape survivor which Sarah has wrote about, Nesta who has experienced sexual assault from Tomas and a kelpie which Sarah has wrote about, or Lucien who was raped by ianthe which Sarah has wrote about again).

I only ever see people have an issue with SA being written and an SA victim having a life after that assault when it comes to Gwyn. Which doesn’t make any sense? And somehow it always goes back to a ship. Gwyn can have a romantic relationship and have a good experience with sex Yknow? Just like Rhys with Feyre after amarantha, or Feyre having a good relationship with Rhys after Tamlin abused her. But it’s always an issue for a character to go through something traumatic and recover/heal when it comes to Gwyn because of a stupid shipwar. It’s disgusting to have this mentality when a lot of sexual assault survivors are already either shunned for having sex after or punish themselves for finding pleasure after their assault. Something Sarah wrote about btw with Rhys.

1: I don’t even ship elucien much anymore because all Elain stans have a superiority complex no matter which side of shipwar they’re on, then Lucien boy moms come in the mix to play and they ruined their own ship with how they behave. Which sucks for me because I used to really like elucien and what they could offer but now I hope they never get their book. Also the fact I always see something racist come from the Elain side, from both eluciens and e/riels. I don’t care for the hardcore elucien side bc I am anti the vanserras and Tamlin and don’t care much for Eris and I am pro nc/ic/valkyries so that side is .. unwelcoming to me.

2: “may Elain continue to walk az like a dog” yall really don’t know Elain at all, huh? She ain’t some boss bitch who is walking anyone like a dog. What we do have though is her giving az back truth teller without a second glance and giving back his solstice present without even having the courage or kindness to give it back to his face. No she left it on the fireplace for him to see. So yeah she’s totally walking him like a dog ig?

3: Nesta is hated as much as she is because of her stupid ass stans who think she was better off when she wanted to kill herself and before she had any friends. I am a hardcore Nesta stan but she only became likable after the intervention that was much needed. And I say that as someone who loved her since acotar1.

4: Gwyn (and emerie) are in no way side characters lmao? They both have full arcs set up and ready to be explored. They have more character growth in one book than flower child has had in five books. Gwyn has an entire backstory right there. The first promo for acotar 6 being Valkyrie related is very telling tbh.

5: I am someone who truly believes the next BOOK even though it is split in volumes, is going to be centered around azriel/the Valkyries/gwynriel/the HoW gang/and possibly a feysand pov bc dusk court/illyria/the Mother plot all have to come BEFORE the koschei plot. And it’s a plot that includes no Elain/lucien/the bread, the roses, and the potatoes. So yes, I do hope the next book(s) have no Elain more so bc I don’t think she has enough character arc even set up yet and she has no role to play in the current plot that has to be dived into next. Now I do believe we will get a bonus chapter for Elain in the next book, to set her up for her own book like we had for az in acosf.
