Valkyrie Week Day 3 - What Sisters Do: the Valkyries Found Family

If there's one thing sisters are going to do, it's tease you about a crush. With Mor planning on joining Valkyrie training at the end of ACOSF, @kt-reads-things and I couldn't resist commissioning a fun moment of Emerie freaking out after an interaction with Mor. Gwyn and Nesta are concerned, but mostly amused. Em will be okay... eventually.

@kt-reads-things and I have one last collaboration to share: a quiet, intimate moment between Gwyn and Azriel to wrap up what has been a fun and exciting two weeks. We have a little headcanon that Gwyn has immaculate legs and that Azriel cannot resist worshipping them any time he can. Really, can you blame him?

Gwynriel Weeks Day Seven — Lullaby

@kt-reads-things and I like to think that late night meetings of all sorts will bring comfort to Gwyn and Azriel. From training to talking to quiet embraces, moments in the moonlight seem to fit Gwynriel perfectly. Here we imagine Gwyn and Azriel finding solace in each other in a secluded gazebo while the moon shines brightly above. Perhaps after a date? Or maybe to get away from the chaos of their beloved family!

When we approached @/jessicaillustax for this commission, she completely blew us away by taking our vague idea of Azriel and Gwyn embracing and turning it into this soothing, beautiful work of art.

Before we fell in love with Gwynriel, @kt-reads-things and I were big Once Upon a Time fans and adored the Captain Swan ship. As an homage to that, we wanted to do a Gwynriel AU of Gwyn and Az as Emma and Hook. Just like Emma taught Hook in an alternate reality, Gwyn is teaching Azriel how to wield a sword ⚔️
