This planet is a true absolute democracy -- everything is determined by popular vote.

Even individual people get upvotes and downvotes, and they're permanent.

You can get a downvote for any reason, even if it was something entirely unintentional.

If you get enough downvotes, you're arrested and possibly even lobotomized. In the end, the crew has to save their crew member from the planet's justice system by manipulating public opinion of him. They do this by flooding the planet's public feed with artificially generated images. (Again, this episode came out in 2017.)

There's even a followup episode confirming that life on this planet has only gotten worse in the following years.

First off, how does a movie from the 1950s write a more interesting romance that I enjoy and root for than most modern movies???? uh?

also I will never not comment on how Cosmo/Kathy/Don is so a thing. Look at these three!!!

also!!! at the end of Good Morning, Kathy kisses Don (for being brilliant) then Cosmo, who came up with the idea they are all so excited about, makes a sarcastic comment and Kathy KISSES HIM. ON THE LIPS. and Don DOESN'T REACT other than to laugh at Cosmo with Kathy when he dramatically falls over in response.

anyways I also every time I watch this movie I have to make fun of the outfits from Beautiful Girl bc they are atrocious. Some of them are okay but most are just. No.
