On 22 August 1972, John Wojtowicz and two accomplices attempted to rob a Brooklyn branch of the Chase Manhattan bank. Wojtowicz was motivated to rob the bank because he wanted to pay for his partnerβs gender reassignment surgery. Wojtowicz was sentenced to 20 years in prison. In 1975 - while Wojtowicz was still behind bars - a movie about the event titled βDog Day Afternoonβ was released. Wojtowicz gave the money earned from the movie to his partner and she was finally able to have the gender reassignment surgery she had wanted for years. John Wojtowicz died of cancer in 2006.
In 2003, Metallica played a ten-song set in San Quentin Prison, California. The band recorded the music video for St. Anger in the prison and in return for using the prison in their video, played for the inmates and also made a $10,000 donation towards the San Quentin Giants baseball field.

The only reason Pitbulls are considered bad or dangerous dogs is because of racism and the only reason people are starting to realize theyβre not is because white People are suddenly going βwow this racist stereotype we imposed on a dog typically owned by black people is wrong and we should fight against this without ever acknowledging itβs racist roots.β So yeah pitbulls were never bad dogs and we always knew that, yβall are just racist.
