I'm an intersex, multiply disabled person. Medium support needs. I have substance abuse and alcohol abuse issues. I have many mental illnesses, I'm professionally diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder bipolar type, complex-post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (scrupulosity), and generalized anxiety disorder affect me greatly. I'm also used to be diagnosed with agoraphobia, depersonal derealization disorder, borderline personality disorder, and dependent personality disorder, but I'm no longer diagnosed with those labels. I still have symptoms of BPD and DPD, and also ASPD and OSDD-1a, but I'm not seeking diagnoses for these due to stigma.
I have neurodevelopmental disabilities, level 2 autism, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder combined type, and a suspected intellectual disability. I don't know what caused it for sure but I got my IQ tested in middle school and was put in special ed after the results. I suspect the cause is an X-linked intellectual disability of some kind with my symptoms and DNA results, or I'm becoming cognitively disabled from brain damage that's been happening a long time.
I also have a couple sensory disabilities, I have significant myopia with astigmatism and I'm hard of hearing from ménière's disease. I also see double from currently unknown reasons though I'm pretty sure it's some form of binocular vision dysfunction. It significantly affects my ability to read or see details far away.
And I'm physically disabled, too. I have hEDS, kyphosis, lordosis, herniated discs, stage 1 chronic kidney disease, grade 3 gastroparesis, GERD, colonic inertia, pelvic floor dysfunction, TMD, PSVT, orthostatic hypotension, circadian rhythm disorder not otherwise specified, chronic migraines, and functional neurological disorder.
I and my doctors don't know why I'm intersex, I'm diagnosed with idiopathic/NOS DSD. My assigned sex at birth was indeterminate and I was reassigned indeterminate again last year. I was born with ambiguous genitalia and experienced precocious puberty beginning around age seven. I continued growing until my early twenties, around 23 or 24. Although I was raised female, my appearance has never aligned cleanly with social expectations of sex or gender.
There's many baby pictures of me dressed like a boy. My mom said she's known my entire life that I'm not a girl, even as a baby. I wore boys clothing an equal amount as girl's clothing in my childhood and preferred having shorter hair. I've changed my name and gender multiple times over the course of my life, starting in elementary school. Gender roles weren't very important to my parents while they raised me. Throughout childhood and adolescence, I was repeatedly bullied for being perceived as male, a butch lesbian, or transgender, depending on the context. As an adult, most strangers struggle to determine my gender or assigned sex, and many default to using they/them pronouns regardless of how I present.
Medically, I have a history of hypoestrogenism, hyperandrogenism, absent progesterone, hirsutism, a clitorophallus, labial fusion, labial hypoplasia, low confluence urogenital sinus, urethral duplication, vaginal hypoplasia, at least one ovary and a mystery gonad, and something weird going on with my Skene's gland and/or prostate. I also have an irregular menstrual cycle and poorly functioning gonads, resulting in severe infertility. My chromosomes are also very weird!
I'm a white passing (I think?), Hispanic, 29 year old person who lives in the US. Survive off SSI. I'm intergender (androgyne/bigender) and aegosexual/bisexual, use any pronouns and gendered terms, TME (not transfem. Not even trans).
I'm a part time AAC user, ambulatory crutch, rollator, and wheelchair user. I have an emotional support animal, an orange tabby cat named Papaya. Papaya is disabled like me, he has an autoimmune disease and a dislocated dewclaw and arthritis. My mother and partner are my caregivers and keep me alive. My partner has his own emotional support animal named Reign. Reign is a 12 year old gray tabby cat, he has arthritis and megacolon.
The current medications I take are Albuterol, Baclofen, Compazine, Estradiol, Finasteride, Flonase, Flovent, Geodon, Glycopyrrolate, Hydroxyzine, Lamictal, Lexapro, Lyrica, Motegrity, Omeprazole, Vyvanse, Zofran, and many supplements.
I don't identify as a spoonie, neurodivergent, or chronically ill, please don't call me these things. I reclaim the slurs cripple and retarded and will call myself these things sometimes. I'm not a punk, but I am a NEET, I just thought it was a good url name for my disability blog. I enjoy listening to music, playing video games, jigsaw puzzles, making jewelry and rosaries, and painting.
I reblog posts that relate to sex and disability, I won't say you have to be 18+ for my blog, because I'm not ever going to post porn or anything too risque. But I would prefer if people who follow me can be mature enough to handle posts about sex.
