Denial. Didn't know what it was and how it had been explained (and is often explained) didn't really fit me. It wasn't until I dove a little deeper and realized that definitions shift and micro labels and other such things exist and those who feel similarly to me are around as well that I became a little more settled with it. Some would probably consider me fictionhearted, but my identity is not set in stone, and as of now I find fictionkin fits me and works quite alright with how I feel.

love the idea of bears being the chosen species actually. having a near death experience and glimpsing heaven and realising it's just full of bears, no humans at all, humans not ensouled actually, humans an accidental byproduct of God's plan for bears
