imagine going to your first rehearsal for a musical and the first words your characters say to each other are “come home with me” “who are you” “the man who’s gonna marry you” and your first duet is a song about a wedding and you get to fall in love doing a show about The Tragic Greek Lovers Ever and then years later you get married to each other and you become the version of the lovers who get a happy ending and get to go home together and you get to do the show again together and now the characters have a different meaning

amber gray was the absolute STAR of the hadestown proshot. i mean, they all killed it as per usual, but i really have to give her her flowers (no pun intended) for the acting decisions she made and how well they translated to screen. award her everything right now.

i'm so so happy to see the hadestown proshot doing so well in theatres and i hope this means that the People In Charge realize how much we want proshots of theatre to be made more accessible to the public who can't make it to the live productions !!!

unfortunate truth of reality is that oftentimes 15 year olds will say/do/believe some stupid bullshit because they are 15 but telling them that they believe that because they are 15 is probably the most counterproductive thing in the entire universe
